    Hey.

While I was playing LEGO Harry Potter, I locked my iPod when I was moving into a different room. Then, when I pressed to home button to unlock it, I got nothing. I held on on/off button, nothing. I plugged it into the computer, nothing.

It's not even a month old...

    Can anyone help me?
Or should I call Apple? In which case, whats the number?

    Thanks.

Hold down the Home and Power buttosn for exactly ten seconds and then continue holding the home button until something changes.

If that didn't work, plug your device into a computer. Does iTunes recognize it now and can you restore? You could also download iPhone Explorer and try to delete Lego Hairy Potter, though I doubt that's what's causing your problems.

If worst comes to worst, you'll need to take it to an Apple store. Calling them probably won't help.

I am kind of worried for my ipod because I have really been abusing the battery with all these games and leaving it charging for a long time.

Since everyone starts moaning about their concerns on their iDevices. Immat ask something too. For those who have itouch4, when your itouch4 ran out of battery and if you turn it on again, does it turn back on for a while? Because when my iPod drained out of power, the next thing that you need to have is the charger. What I mean is it doesn't have enough power to reboot sp I'll have to wait around 5-10 mins charging to be able to use it. This is weird to me since I had 1g and 3g and when they shut down because of the power and turn it back again, they'll have at least 10 percent mote. Id all my iPods jb but I think the 4g's battery Is shorter than my 3G and I don't even use winterboard.

So yeah, I hope someone's drunk enough to able read this.

Luckily I'm totally at your level tonight and this makes sense to me.

I noticed it too, cause I recently-ish upgraded from a 2nd gen to 4th gen touch, and my 4th gen does the same thing, has to charge for 5 - 10 min before it'll boot up again when it's completely flat.
It also seems that if the battery is really low, and I quit an app, it'll then shut down. So I guess it's draining the battery as much as it possibly can whilst you're still using it, so it then needs to refill it's reserve tank or something before it's happy to turn back on.

    Or something.
