Those default folder icons look a hell of a lot better than the god-awful categoriesSB ones, and the previews seem like a useful addition (can categoriesSB even do anything like that?).

Not that I know of, and yes the folder "previews" are sexy.

The CategoriesSB ones are only default placeholders, you can make your own with any theme app so... you could create a preview with a little Photoshop time, or y'know, something better.

I'd call it a grey area, that specific build isn't supposed to be public, but the updates are free anyway so... yeah. Apple would probably say it's not supported and might blow up your house but I wouldn't feel guilty about downloading it.

Didn't happen to me last time, so I'd say it's an If-y. I'm not 100%

Nah, iTunes would just see that you already have the update on your device and won't do anything.

So would those 4.0 downloads work when 9.2 comes to windows?

    From Apple = Yes.

  14. Bah. I don't use my Mac for syncing or iTunes. Guess I'll just have to wait 'til June 21st like everyone else.

Yay, clash of the nubs! iOS4 is Firmware 4.0 for the iPod Touch/iPhone. This free update is not provided for the first gen. This will work on any system your computer is in (it doesn't really matter).

A bunch of "hidden secrets" found by Gizmondo guys on the iOS4
