I made this today in my free time. Surprisingly, it actually lost some quality in the upload to Vimeo. Hmmm...
I'll upload a QuickTime version tomorrow.

    http://vimeo.com/2434869 Note, there's some audio.

If a dev wants to actually use this concept to make a game, you can send me a PM. :)
Unfortunately, I don't have the skills or knowledge, letalone hardware to create a game for the iPhone.

About the game itself, the way it would work is you see shots of water coming from different directions. You would then either use touch and/or motion (at the same time) to rotate the container and catch the shots. Then, after filling the container, well, you win. And I guess there could potentially be stuff to avoid, etc. I was thinking it would be interesting to have each control scheme affect the way you play. When you use touch, it would actually turn the container on the screen but be a faster and more effective control, as opposed to motion where it would keep it upright, but it's obviously slower with less effective control. Also, if the container is upside down for too long, water would leak out... But that could make it frustrating.

    What does everyone think?

I'm using the new Flash CS4 trial, by the way, and it rocks.

    Great idea!

I hope you find a way to make this game come true.

    Thank you :)

I'm thinking one of the only ways as of now that I'd be able to make it reality is if I work with a dev.

I can design, but I can't code. So if any devs that can code but can't design want to team up, I'm willing.

A super dumbed down version of Aqua Forest is more like it.

Well, sure if you want to call it that. Like I said and made obvious, it's a concept. Not a real game in production. And if it were ever to become a reality, it would be much more advanced than what I wrote or showed in the video (which, really, I showed nothing).

But a concept is a concept and sometimes is made just to seek interest in an idea.

And yes, water+container = happy fun time. A happy f'n fun time. :D
