My computer, which I sync my iDevice to, just crashed and the motherboard and maybe the hard drive will have to be replaced. If the hard drive has to be replaced, I'm going to try to transfer the stuff to a new one. Is there any way to make it so that I don't loose the progress of any games on my iPod and be able to sync to the computer? Will not replacing the hard drive and only the mother board make a difference?

    All help is appreciated!

If you can get access to a computer, a friends for example, back up your iDevice on that using iTunes. Then get one of those programs that allow you to get all the music and other files off your iDevice (google is your friend) then when you upgrade, go back to the comp and get all your files and drop them on your new HDD.
    Hope this helps.
