After a week of clearing, cleaning, painting, buying and building, my room is done. I still live with my parents and bear in mind, this is in addition to my bedroom, so it's pretty cool I'm allowed to have it at all. It'd been full of junk since we moved in six years ago, you couldn't see the floor for all the books, old school work, CD cases and plush toys in there. So I figured I'd make it something of a project for myself. I threw away the crap, painted it blue and bought a brand new sofa and 32" HDTV. Some dude is coming on Wednesday to install Sky+ Now I just need a blind for the window and some awesome framed movie posters for the walls.

Y'know I'd always assumed it was a worldwide thing, but now I see the full name of the company is actually "British Sky Broadcasting". Anyway, "regular" analogue TV over here only has 5 channels/stations. Sky is digital and gives you around 240+ including a bunch of US stations (and some boring stuff from other countries) and the option to pay for premium sports/movie channels as well.
I'd recommend any Indiana Jones Posters while having an awesome poster of Finding Nemo next to it It worked for me. Nice room. I like the blue too. Get a cool, looking retro lamp in there. It would work perfectly Maybe.
Really nice room with a clean look to it. I would have to have a bigger tv though but what you have fits your room.
At first I didn't like the blue but it does look really nice. Not sure what else is in the room because of the small pic but get yourself some speakers and a blu ray player.
Yeah the room really is small, you can see the door handle in the bottom right corner. It's supposed to be a study/baby room. We've got a bigger HDTV downstairs Well that's it, all my "stuff" is in my bedroom so anything new is gonna have to wait until I'm paid again. I plan on getting speakers at some point. Got all three of those, they're not going in that room though
Looks awesome. Almost as good as my shed/man-cave with TV, PS2, iPhone dock speakers, Sofa-bed, cool wallpaper, tropical plants, bamboo blinds, hammocks (soon), and a mini fridge for beer!
Man, you guys across the pond know how to live. Except for your stupid electrical outlets. I see that horrid wall jack over there.
