Ahh, they fixed all the lag on BFBC2. Works like a charm, an amazing charm

    Midian,
Nice to see you play BFBC2 as well - just picked up the PC version last week and am loving it to death.

The team-within-a-team gameplay is just fantastic, assuming you find good squad members. It eliminates the issues that plague so many other games (grenade/spawn camping, static sniping, etc). The last FPS I played online religiously (besides CS:S) was also CoD4, but the vast differences between both games and the amount of depth BFBC2 has is just STUNNING.

What's your online name? Let's catch up sometime in-game :)

    MAG > BFBC2 > MW2

MAG is like BFBC2 but even more focused on team work and strategy. After playing MAG, BFBC2 started to feel like MW2.

I probably should have replied to this one instead. Glad you like it! I'm on the PS3 version though so it'd be pretty hard for us to get a match going.

As for MAG, I did the teamwork vibe, but the game in general just doesn't feel as solid and well-developed. It feels like a cheaper, shakier game with a better idea in mind.

Agreed. I just didn't like MAG, though I liked it's ambitions.

As for MW2 vs BFBC2? BFBC2. All the way. I hated the pacing in MW2. I loved MW1, that game was amazing especially when it first came out. 2 things killed my MW2 experience: The maps and the Community. Unless you are playing with friends, it's such a frustrating experience. No one wants to play together. It feels like everyone is running around like freakin chickens with their heads cut off and never serves any purpose cept getting killed. I also am not a huge fan of Death Match games, and the objective games in MW2 were rediculous (cept domination). Like no one wants to team up they just want to get kills in. All the time. I just find that the constant Death Match round after Death Match round just got so redundant. I'll play a squad Death Match in BFBC2 once in a while, but I mainly stick to Rush/Conquest.

I don't 2 sh!ts about how good or poor my K/D ratio is. In MW2, if you were like a .8 or below, you practically got made fun of all the time for doing so shitty, meanwhile the frequent ex-(or current)military person would come on and stroke himself talking about how awesome he is and how much you wouldnt cut it in the (insert random branch of military here), or the sh!t talking 12 year old kid who plays for 13 hours a day and feels the need to incessantly talk mad sh!t and stupid things about raping my grandmother.

Where as in BFBC2, I havn't come across that very much at all. Usually I have a full squad of friends or people I usually play with. People want to work together, and in this game a bad K/D doesn't necessarily mean you are an awful player, it could just mean you focused more on arming the bomb or hiding in that corner unnoticed while capturing the flag, or spent more time throwing out Med packs and reviving people who ARE doing all the killing. My K/D is only like .86 or so. Not great, but I also don't spend the entire time looking for kills. It's just such a diverse game there is no end to how you can or want to play. And that's why I like it so much, and is why I have been playing it over MW2 since it's release.
