Thanks for the responses! I'll pick this up soon (right after I finish my current platformer). =) @syntheticvoid: I'm prepared to die a lot in this game then..since it seems like you're much better and like harder platformers than me.. I gave up halfway through Meganoid since it was getting too frustrating for me. But you've never been wrong with your suggestions. =)
I always end up buying good looking platformers as soon as they come out, then within 15 minutes I remember that I really don't enjoy platformers. That being said, everything about this game is sharp.

Didn't notice this until it was doing well in the GOTW, will have to take a look at some youtube vids, how does this play on the retina ipads? I think I read the controls are moveable. I usually on like ipad platformers if they are moveable, do the controls work well on the ipad? T hanks.
I know nothing about the controls on iPad, but this is now one of my fav platformers on iOS. I highly recommend.
I found even the first level (after tutorial) frustrating. I guess I need to stop trying to get all those gem things. I ended up having to replay a portion of it over and over since I didn't reach the checkpoint before dying. LOL. I will try again and this time not try to get all gems.
I just completed the first set of hidden levels, and opened the granny levels... But I checked my achievements and have endings 1,2,3 and 5... I'm guessing 6 will come after completing the granny levels? Has anyone unlocked the 4th ending?
I finished everything but the extra super hard levels in LoE, but this game I find infuriating. I swear I am still stuck in the first post-tutorial level. LOL! I think also the walking through water aspect is a turnoff. It seems glacial, and yet the game is frustratingly difficult. Not a good combination. I think that's why I'm still stuck. I get a little bit through after dying a bunch and by then I'm bored with it and play something else. Maybe I'll try again at some later date.
MY GOD these Granny levels are... AWESOME! I really thought that they'd be a tad bit easier (as the first set of hidden levels was quite a bit easier than going through the original 20 stages the first time... I thought it might just get easier after that...) - but the level designs are fabulous, and these granny levels are even harder than the first 20 stages, which is GREAT. I really can't complement the level design more. The developers obviously knew what they were doing. I REALLY hope we get Mutant Mudds 2 ported over after its released next year! After MUCH self debate, I've got to say that this is definitely in my tip 3 absolute favorite platformers on the iOS. With such stiff competition between Meganoid, Stardash, Miss Claire Garden, Shantae, Incoboto, Metal Slug, ect... I'd have to say that that's quite the accomplishment. Then again, this is just my personal list... Which doesn't give them any awards or anything... It means a lot to me. =oP
Glad your enjoying the Granny levels! They are indeed awesome. They are challenging, but again, in my opinion, not to the point of frustration. Especially since Granny is a powered up badass! That's great news about a sequel, didn't know they were working on one. I hope we see it on iOS.
Okay, I will buy just cause I want to see if it is worthy of the GOTW, cause there are a lot of good games up this week. Gonna give it a whirl.
