Once you collect... I think it's 1,200 of the coins, you'll be able to use the extra hover booster from Granny's shop. =o)

The second secret levels you can't get to until you ace the game. And those levels are FUN!

Yeah, thanks, I've seen those power-up items. My problem is when I'm maybe something like 70-80 coins through a level and I mess up a jump/hover manoeuvre, fall on some spikes and have to start again, or start at a checkpoint again, which often causes me to instantly quit the game and go do something less annoying. That's just me, though.

I've aced the game, WOOHOO! Looking forward to playing the secret hard levels and mixing it up on the leaderboards. :D

Congrats! I'm working on 5-4 ATM on my first play through (yeah... Still have about 40 levels to go...) - but I'll eventually work on the leaderboards as well...

Can't believe this is only a buck...

    Thanks! :)

I found the first part of 5-4 to be quite tricky, good luck. ;)

Your 2nd play through, finding the secret levels will be much quicker. Each level has 2 secrets, only one of which will be accessible until you attain 40 Water Sprites and 2000 gold coins.

I agree, 69p for this game is a joke. I think this has become one of my favourite platformers on iOS, along with games like Bean's Quest and Soosiz. Definitely in my top 10 for 2012.

    Edit: #1 on 1-1 and 1-2 ;)

Super fun. Wasn't sure what to expect, love the pixel art and the soundtrack!

Whoa, :56 on 1-1? I'm doing it wrong lol
I'll have to check for a more efficient way.

Specially when on the 3DS it costs 9$ ._.

Anyways, I know everyone here is puking rainbows over this game... but I've yet to see anything that convinces me to buy this game... Can someone convince me?

From reviews, I keep seeing mentioning of this being a difficult game. How difficult is this compared to games like League of Evil or Meganoid?

I consider myself fairly decent at platformers... And I die quite a bit. Especially in the 4th and 5th world stages... I just now completed 5-4 after dying about 40 times, and am now working on the hidden level in 1-3...

It's difficult, but not frustraitingly difficult. No cheap deaths, no deaths because of the controls... Every time I've died it's been my own stupid fault. =oP

Difficulty wise, I'd put it up there with OrangePixels titles. It could be a tad bit easier or harder, depending on your views... But personally, I put it around that level of difficulty. =oP

... GET IT. You won't regret it one bit.

I must be one of the worst platformers because I keep dying in the first world secret passage way! Mind you I haven't played enough yet to officially declare I suck! Really fun game though:)

Mutant Mudds is nowhere near as difficult as League of Evil. At least, that's my opinion. During the course of the game you gain access to 3 different power ups that you can equip, albeit only one at a time (until you unlock Granny). These do help with the harder levels. Plus every level has a halfway checkpoint, where you restart if you die.

I did too... Until I went on, and decided to save the extra stages for later on in the game...

I found LOE (especially LOE 2) to be easier than OrangePixels titles... Especially the original Meganoid...

Just find it funny how different platformer fans find different games so varied in the level of difficulty...

Thanks for the tip!!! That sounds more manageable and when the skills get better with more playtime maybe these secret levels might seem a little easier:)

Yep, that's exactly what I did. Am currently going through the Granny levels, which are awesome. And dominating the leaderboards. ;)

Just bought it and the game seems cool, though I feel like I'm running in water.

Yeah, I felt the same way at first too, but by the time I hit level 2-1, the speed felt perfect... And even more so now that I'm making my way through the first set of hidden levels...
