Great Album, though it's tied with the Bends for my favourite Radiohead album. and @LordVader You like Bright Eyes bro? awww.... lmao
Hey! That's Charlie from lost! Dominic Monaghan! ... if you watch Lost religiously for two months straight, you tend to get excited about these things. Eminem has gotten cheesy lately, though.
How can you like that awful screeching into a mic you guys all listen to that makes me want to maul an infant and dislike Eminem?
Eminem turns skinny white boys into the most pathetic and ridiculous little ghetto wannabe shits possible. You can't blame people for liking instruments and singing, it's always been the most popular choice, talking in rhythm is what you do when you realise you're completely tone deaf but think you're too badass for poetry.
I have nothing against instruments and singing I'm talking about all you gnarly dudes who love to listen to guys literally scream at the top of their lungs into microphones and actually think there's some musical value in there. Also, I wouldn't say Eminem turns skinny white boys into ghetto wannabes. He doesn't even talk about that stuff he talks mostly about life. Maybe your mixing him up with ICP?
I can't say I'd ever actually searched "Eminem" before, but I'm glad I did, 'cause his face is lulworthy. Sincere much? The dude looks like he's never had a fun day in his life. Is that not the cool thing to do?

Just because you can't hear the music doesn't mean it's not there, it means your ears don't work, and if you don't think Eminem's fans are ghetto wannabes then... actually no, you're just kidding yourself. Eminem more or less single-handedly created the skinny white boy ghetto wannabe stereotype. It doesn't matter what he talks about, loserkids think that's cool and so they start wearing stupid hats, saggy pants and enormous t-shirts and talk about life on the streets when they've never even seen the streets.
He's a pretty ugly guy but if you judge an artist's musical ability based on looks there's something wrong with you.
You say rappers are rappers because their tone deaf I could say the same thing about your obnoxious scream heroes.
It's quite possible, only many of them are perfectly adept at clean singing as well, plus you're forgetting the most important part of the band... the music. You do realise that unlike rappers, metal front men usually have a bunch of guys behind them actually creating that music in real time, right? You need a pretty strong grasp on tone and rhythm to get that stuff right. It's a skilled profession.
Music is subjective. There's definitely a line where crap is crap (Linkin Park's new single, anyone? That's actual in the MoH trailer?) but I can vouch for either side. Sure, I'm not a huge fan of screaming metalcore, but it does require talent and ability. Along with Eminem, he doesn't rap about cars, bling, or women, but used (past tense, there's nothing remotely deep about Not Afraid) create pretty complex raps on everyday life. It's amazing how much you have to reference as a rapper as well. I don't listen to either of 'em, but they're respectable in the industry. lol, I love the hassle you went through to post the video. But serious? Are you a 50 year old women experiencing empty nest syndrome? I know I'm absolutely destroying the argument I just made, but what male teen listens to this?
Other than Roots and a few others that I have seen live with bands I can't think of a rapper that doesn't use a backing track. I can't stand the screamo as much as I can't stand a bunch of guys incessantly talking over the music. Screaming a verse is just annoying and it over rides the mix, so whatever good music is playing is buried behind a heavy layer of distorted vocals. As for the screaming in general - there are exceptions there are some Pixies songs where a "scream" vocal is mixed in the background and with the distorted guitars. This sounds good. As for rap - just because someone can fit every possible syllable over a measure doesn't mean impress me. It is like shred guitar - it sounds against the music as opposed to with it. In small bursts it can sound excellent against the mix, but an over reliance on it leads to complete boredom. As for guitar - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KcDzFBupEMw - I have never seen any shredder play like this guy, and all he has is a beat to shit tele and an amp.
