That is only if you want unlimited multiplayer and don't want to wait for war spirits to replenish. Might not be the best idea but shouldn't kill the game as it has a big single player campaign.

If you spend any time with the game at all, you'll see that it's a pretty decent mobile rts. $12 for 200 missions over 4 unique factions isn't bad either. Stop whining about the IAP. It's designed to give you a taste, and if you like it you can then spend the money to make it a premium game. If you don't like it, then you're not out any money. I like this approach personally. It's kind of like playing a demo before buying the full game. Good job devs! I look forward to playing the rest of the game as soon as I get paid again.

Wow... As an old school game back to the days of Pong the gaming world was simpler. I totally understand that it takes a lot of time and money to make a game and clearly the app works has changed the gaming world as before we used to pay $39-$49 for even Nintendo or she's games before even PlayStation or ps2, PS3 etc... I stopped at PS3 based on not truly having times to play video games as much now.

That being said, sure .99 or even $4.99 or more may not be sufficient for a game company or individuals to make a living... but this f2p model is ridiculous.

This gaming world is getting to complicated with f2p, subscription models etc.. let's get back to paying the reasonable rate for a game. I preferred the free trial mode and than paying the asking price which is waaaay better than even the video gaming world of PS4 and other systems.

I ended up getting a 3ds recently and love their game demo model as it works! I'm willing to pay up to 39.99 after knowing I liked it from a demo.

I understand the iPhone and android world has made the price point almost a race to the bottom and .99 is not sustainable and I love spending up to $100 a year on a crazy amount of different games which is so little compared to my original video game habit when games cost so much more...and still does.

But I truly hope this subscription based monthly model and f2p ends! Go back to a demo or trial and let gamers pay for a premium game!!!!

Sorry for ranting but this is just getting really dumb and unnecessarily complicated.

It's a 15 mission demo that's 12$ for the entire single player campaign or 20$ if buying individual episodes. The subscription is totally optional if you can't wait for multiplayer souls to replenish and you only lose a war soul if you lose a match. Jesus people are picky.

I'd pay $12 one-time for a premium game, for a sub I'd expect a bit less, especially when compared to the Playstation version. But that's besides the point: devs should charge whatever they expect their work is worth, and I'm all for supporting good developers. Personally I'm just burned by the way they handled the first one, releasing an update that introduced a few bugs as well as switched the system language to Russian (or something) then completely disappeared in short order, dropping all support and leaving me with a game I paid good money for in a language I can't understand to even get around the UI, and no support. I couldn't trust them again, but that's my personal opinion based on my experiences. Others could and should probably give them another chance, especially if you're new to the series -- maybe things will be different this time around. Now if as an act of goodwill they released an update for the first game finally fixing all those issues and restoring all we paid for, I may reverse my opinion on them...but for now, I'm done. I'm not going to troll so I've given my 2 cents and that's that.
