It's a little confusing at first but once you get going it starts to make sense. This is a very popular title on Steam. It has a few bugs but I think they are getting worked out. mbjones Active Member Sep 14, 2011 38 0 6 Director of Technology Services Cape Town, South Africa http://mbjones.net #3 mbjones, Mar 9, 2023 How long is a play through? PBSNellie Well-Known Member Jul 7, 2013 1,343 150 63 Southern CA #4 PBSNellie, Mar 9, 2023 For someone like me, probably longer than the average gamer. I'm slow on the uptake. I was at it for over 1/2 hour, but I think it could go faster. mbjones likes this. Talbs Well-Known Member May 1, 2011 2,570 355 83 #5 Talbs, Mar 9, 2023 And your thoughts? I’ve seen reviews saying it gets old kinda quick and is more of a beginners game, which has me holding off. PBSNellie Well-Known Member Jul 7, 2013 1,343 150 63 Southern CA #6 PBSNellie, Mar 9, 2023 Well, it has local/AI and online play so you can play your friends. It has 3 difficulty settings and a challenge mode. There is a lot to do in the game and it goes pretty fast depending on the timer setting. I actually won my first game which for me is pretty shocking and I would say it took some time to get there, at least 1/2 hour but a lot of the time was spent figuring out what I could and couldn't do. It's sort of a Fluxx type situation where the rules can change in the middle of the game depending on what cards you draw. I love the artwork and I think the game lends itself to expansions in the future. Talbs likes this. I have the table version of the game but since it’s 3 players I don’t play that often. This game is much nicer with people, but hey! Munchkin in my pocket is so cool! There are so many available expansion that I hope they bring it to IOS. For me it’s more a « not so serious, beer and pretzel game » It’s more fun than depths. We need those kinda games. It’s more elaborate than exploding kitties but in the same « cheeky humour » vibe. Wich I like. anyhoo. Sweeeeeet. edit : a faster animation speed option would be welcome tough. Talbs likes this.
