I played this for nearly a week without realizing what the picture at the top meant, or even noticing it. I don't think it was in the tutorial, and if it isn't it should be. This adds so much strategy to an already strategic masterpiece.
Did not know about that either. Thanks for pointing that out. Let's see if I can break my high score of 10000.
Thanks for all the comments guys, this is really helping with our Post Release Depression. Also thanks for the review that is coming! Really want to read what TA thinks of our game. Finally, a couple of things: Yeah, the 'altar piece' is the piece that appears after you push in another piece. Other thing is, if you tap the animated skull in the home screen, another screen is revealed. Thanks again guys!
3.5/5? I respect your reviews more than any other TA writer, but I consider this a solid 4.5/5 game. Ahh well. Opinions differ, and the review was well written. I think the single gameplay mode, in this instance, does the game justice. It does one thing really well...with no BS. Anyway. Good review as always Shaun.
Sorry, guys. I even asked for an extension so I could spend a few more days with and see if it clicked the way it did for you fine folks. In the end, all I can honestly report in a review is my own personal POV. In cases where that feels off from the vibe in here, I always try to link to the forums and nudge people to check here. Your opinions are just as good as mine, after all.
It's all good Shaun I really appreciate those forum nudges. It really is crazy how similar you and Bronxsta are taste-wise, though. Kori is a fantastic artist! I love seeing his posts on Twitter every day
I'm glad to see the love this game gets. For me the music is worth the buck alone. On top of that i got a great game Also nice to see a spanish speaker (i live in spain). The modal dialogue when you want to reset a game in progress sounded really spanish-translated to me, jiji. I wonder why it is a native ios dialogue though? Is there any reason for that? Just wondering. Anyway, great game. Really love everything about it. Cheers from Barcelona
Thanks! It is native because we didn't have one until the update and we didn't have a lot of time to make it And yeah, it is written that way because it was our programmer jr who did it. Won't happen again. ¡Gracias Forellentee!
I'd like to second this request. I was just having my best run ever, and had a bunch of corner pieces I could use. I filled the last square on the board, intending to then use a wild card from a corner, and suddenly my game was over. I know I can just remember not to fill the last square, but it doesn't seem intuitive to me that the game would end when I still have moves I can do.
This game is amazing!! I can't stop playing! Currently 2nd in the Android leaderbords, but it is impossible to reach "Gran Lobo" scores. I would like to second the request to avoid ending the game when there are no space in the board, but you still have powers like death or pots. One last thing, a little bug I found. When there are no spaces in the board, but there is still a pot, this one begins to flicker. The problem is that after you burst it, every figure you place in that tile flickers too for the rest of the round. Anyways, best game played in months!!!
