Why...why do people continue to make "MMORPGs" that play the ***damned game FOR YOU. I hate when I see a possible new mobile MMORPG (The only one that exists imo is order and chaos currently)then I find out that it is not in fact an MMO...bc either the game plays itself for you, the game is entirely WAY too easy, or the game is some stupid cash grab version of an RTS with pvp as core gameplay. An MMORPG is world of Warcraft, order and chaos, Everquest, Final Fantasy Online, etc. STOP advertising as an MMO when you are not one...and FFS...stop making games that play themselves and require no skill...and actually require NO GAMEPLAY whatsoever. boycott this game. When Webzen posted back then a year later the first Footage of MU Origin it looked like would be a Mobile Diablo Game. Now another year later it`s clear that it`s not as good as Diablo but much worse then that and this is actually not even the most shocking part... Since the Game has a long, long history of being announced and then again delayed and again delayed I actually had to search for the first footage I was shown of the Game and even I can`t show it now since I probably would break some NDA I had forgotten since then I can ensure you that the current Game has absolute nothing to do with the first Build of the Game that was showed around back then which let at least me really believe that Webzen could create something like an Diablo Type of Game on Mobile that could easily keep up with what Blizzard hat created back then and which is still till today one of their most played Games besides World of Warcraft and of course Hearthstone. Sadly what MU Origin has turned into is just another of those Asian Fantasy Always Online Grinder Games that you would expect it to be if you wouldn`t know how this Game had looked back in 2014/2015 when it was shown the first time around or at some Webzen PCs. But`s let`s first talk about what the Game has and what it doesn`t have at the end. Webzen`s Mu Origin is your classic Mobile Online Fantasy Hack'n'Slay Mobile Game with the usual Content that you would expect from it. Millions of Quests that are most of the time about Kill X Monster to get Y as a Reward and so on and so one... Weapon Evolving, Character Bonus Sets, InGame Store that does sell the usual Boosts, Arenas, PVP,...the Game has it. And of course the usual VIP System (Paymium!) that does offer you some crazy Bonus Stats the more real Money you spent in the Game. Instead of trying to create with Mu Origin something unique that would actually catch your interest and stand out on the Online Mobile Market Webzen does just copy what everyone else does and afterwards mix it together with an Story that you most of the time won`t even take note of after your realize that it doesn`t matter if you know what it`s about it or not since the Game sents you most of the time from A to B and afterwards to C without letting you at all choose you rown Path during any time at all. Conclusion: I have never slept so good while playing the Game, sorry I mean of course while the Game was running on it`s own because of those automatic function in the Game where the Game will run on it`s own without you having anything to do at all. It goes even that far that even when you aren`t playing the Game you are still collecting Exp. Points in the Game (Meditation). Mu Origin isn`t only as boring as it does sound but too is having washed out Textures that where everything in the Game does look like it would have been run through some Compression Systems to make sure that it will run on the first iPhone too. While this hole thing sound as bad as it might be MU Origin still has some interesting Features you wouldn`t expect to see in such an Mobile Game and that`s why it`s not an total fail. Still since it`s far away from what Original Build of MU Origin that I still remember from those presentations I`m really having a hard time to understand at what point Webzen had decided to stop developing an Online Mobile Diablo Game and switched over to what MU Origin has become nowadays.
