TASM opened with $35m on Tuesday alone. That's just insane, especially for a reboot. Number 2 for a movie opening on Tuesday was the original Transformers (2007) with $27.9m.
Damn, that's amazing! (that pun never gets old ) So it I happen to watch TAS in 3D it won't like ruin the movie will it? Is it done pretty well?
imo the 3D doesn't quite pick up until the third act but it's very good. not too flashy but noticeable enough to be worth it. someone screamed when the camera zoomed over the skyline and the antenna tower popped out which was pretty funny but overall, awesome movie! also, best stan lee cameo ever
Agreed! I didn't think they'd use it very often, mainly just in the final scene we saw in the first trailer, but it's a very creative spin on how the acrobatics are shown. Makes the action seem much more fast-paced and exciting yet you can still see what exactly is going on.
Just saw TAS!!!!! MOTHERFREAKIN' AWESOME! Can't wait for the sequel(s)!!!! EDIT: And backtothis, you were totally right about the 3D, I actually enjoyed 3D this time! Wasn't overkill or wasn't too dull, it was just right! Spoiler was that Norman Osborn in the credit scene? If so, what was he doing in jail?
The Dark Knight Rises has screened for some critics in the last 24 hours, and twitter reactions online have been very positive. Some have even said it's better than TDK, although I'd take that with a grain of salt. From now on until the movie opens on the 20th, BEWARE OF SPOILERS ON THE INTERNET. http://www.slashfilm.com/the-dark-knight-rises-highres-images-show-christopher-nolan-work/ http://www.nolanfans.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=10680
Better than TDK?!?!?!??!?!?!?!!? I want to view this so badly now. I just need to go no spoilers like I did for TDK.
I'm counting on it. Edit: The streak of awful ratings since The Avengers can finally end. It hasn't been this bad in years.
just came back from watching amazing spider-man.. pretty good though felt like it brought nothing new to tables and its basically the first part of the previous Toby trilogy //
Hate to admit it, but I liked the old ones better. The new Spidey didn't feel like Spider Man at all. Felt like a weird sci fi with an awkward Peter Parker.
