The Avengers completed destroyed HP7 P2, raking in over $200m this opening weekend. That is just incredible. What a way to start off Hollywood Season. Going to see it the day I get back for summer vacation. Going during the day with the gf when everyone else is at work or school.
I'm thinking $250m possibly. I can't imagine what it takes to get to $300m in one weekend. That's literally selling out every showing in every theater for 3 days.
The Avengers was incredible!!! I can't praise Joss Whedon's directing skills enough, all the characters were balanced out perfectly! Can't wait to see it again!
Yeah, got me a bit confused at a couple parts, but I figured it out. I liked it, too. Performances were solid!
Finally saw Slumdog Millionaire. It was the first movie I told my gf I wanted to see with her..over three years ago. Memorable as hell. Glad we finally got to it.
I still haven't seen that one. I've started to a couple times, but never could seem to finish it. Gotta get around to it someday.
Battleship opened to $25 mil in the US, LOL. Avengers made another $55 mil easily during its third weekend here in the US. Just 2.5 more weeks until Prometheus! Probably going to skip on MIB3, which comes out this weekend.

My brother informed me that GI Joe got pushed back to March 2013 so they could convert it into 3D. Can anyone confirm this... I was really looking forward to it
