I recently watched "Tucker and Dale vs. Evil". Such an awesome movie. I have to recommend it! Go watch it!
sucks to be in America I'm going to the avengers in 2 hours. Watched all the movies for the last 5 nights to prepare. Ya its a satire of horrors and is really class.
For me this summer. In order by release date: The Avengers - 5/04 The Dictator - 5/11 (?)Battleship - 5/18 (?)Men in Black 3 - 5/25 Madagascar 3 - 6/08 Prometheus - 6/08 (?)Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter - 6/22 Brave - 6/22 (?)G.I. Joe: Retaliation - 6/29 The Amazing Spider-Man - 7/03 Ice Age: Continental Drift - 7/13 The Dark Knight Rises - 7/20 (?)The Bourne Legacy - 8/03 (?)Total Recall - 8/03 (?)The Expendables 2 - 8/17 I might have left a few out, but these are the "biggest" releases I'm looking forward to until school starts again mid-August. The ones with a (?) mean I might not see them if they're rated terribly. The others I'll probably be seeing for sure either way.
I can't imagine that Avengers is going to live up to the seemingly uber lofty expectations everyone has for it. Not saying it won't be good, just that the hype for this thing is off the charts.
Considering it's out in the many major parts of the world already, it's doing great in living up. Ratings are actually going up on RT as more critics post their reviews. 97% now. Unheard of for a superhero movie.
Yeah, I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this one. I could be wrong, but I think it's already living up to the high expectations it's set. I still don't like Captain America's helmet though...
it beat mine. Even though I know how good Joss is at balancing cast and making characters awesome, I always worried that it would focus too much on Stark or Cap. But instead every memeber had their part to play in a big way. The dialogue between all of them was fantastic. And the action sequences were the best from any superhero film yet. I was really excited for this movie and was still blown away. Your welcome for now building the hype up even more
Should be the final trailer for Prometheus: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/prometheus_2012/trailers/11164611/ Looks insanely epic.
That is literally the best trailer I have ever seen. Wow. Just lost quite a bit of excitement for The Avengers and Prometheus there. Edit: The ending. Can't believe it's still nearly 3 months from release. Catching the midnight showing for sure.
Holy. Effing. S**t. I must say my faith in The Avengers being the best superhero movie this year has just been shaken...
Well the way I count is Avengers is my favourite super hero movie while Dark Knight is my favourite comic book movie. They are quite different genres and I wouldnt classify nolanverse as Superhero.
