The Iron Giant is a fantastic movie. My wife and kids saw The Lorax and liked it a lot, but I didn't see it myself.

Been wanting to watch John Carter. I'll probably wait til it hits redbox, though. :p

Really excited with this new promo pic of Cap, he actualy looks cool, unlike in the trailers. Hope he looks like this in the movie.

Just saw Tintin. Pretty decent animation. Really enjoyed the art style. I think I'll finally start the iOS game tonight, lol. Still want to see Hugo. Going to see 21 Jump Street tomorrow.

Holy sh*t, the new Prometheus trailer was intense. I think I am more excited for that movie than I am for The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises...

Missed the movie time for 21 Jump Street today, lol. Can't believe I didn't go to the theaters once this break. That's a first, meh.

The new Prometheus trailer was definitely sick. It's up there in my top 3 for this summer's films.

Edit: Damn, I want to see THG. Don't know when I'll be going to the theaters again though..probably in three weeks, bleh.

Lol at John Carter. I'm still gonna see it though... when it hits Redbox. :p

Say am I the only one interested in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter just because Tim Burton's involved?

Yea.. John Carter was.. meh. I didn't even want to see it, but my friends wanted to :p It wasn't the worst movie, but it wasn't worth the extra $4 for 3D lol.

I really wanna see 21 Jump Street, so I might see that today (half price today) and I really, really, really wanna see The Hunger Games. So hopefully I'll be seeing that on Friday.

Yeah, THG looks really interesting. Never read the book(s) or anything so I have no clue what it's about...

Yea, the books were amazing. I hope they don't change too much like the writers/producer/whoever did with The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

Hey, did anyone else read about the new Ninja Turtles reboot? Michael Bay said something like "These turtles are an alien race from a different dimension..." I was like... WTF?!

Well, I saw John Carter today. Didn't think I would've gone to see it, but I did. And damn, that movie was boring as hell... it was ok I guess, I just thought it could've been better...

Just realized The Raid: Redemption was made by the ppl who did Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon along with Kung Fu Hustle. Holy shit.

I need to get myself to the theaters somehow this weekend to see it along with THG.

Edit: Wow, Wrath of the Titans and Mirror Mirror are both coming out next week? Is Hollywood season starting already?..

Guess I'm going to have to leave The Lorax, JC, and 21 Jump Street to Redbox.

Seriously looks like I'll be in the theaters weekly again this summer. This is probably one of the biggest years for movies we've had in quite a while. There are literally 15 films I know I'll be watching for sure already from May through the middle of August.

I saw The FP last friday and enjoyed it enough to pre-order the Blu-Ray. I was honestly expecting a movie on par with The Room or Birdemic but the movie is ligitimately funny, the acting is decent even though the dialog is ridiculous and the production values are surprisingly high. The thing that impressed me the most was the music, I was shocked to find out the entire score was original with no music pulled from the actual DDR games. After listening to the score a couple times (free 320kbps download with the Blu-Ray pre-order) it sounds to me like a mix of the trance music you'd find heavily used in DDR and 1980's John Carpenter film scores.

    Here's the first ten minutes:

If you enjoyed that you're going to love this film and if not then it's not your type of movie.
