Just finished watching Spirited Away. Such an amazing animation. Been five years since the last time I saw it.
Lots of Ellen DeGeneres commercials tonight during the Oscars, lol. Hugo and The Artist won pretty big tonight. Surprising that The Descendants didn't. Last two awards left. Hope Rooney Mara or Viola Davis win best leadings actress. Best picture will probably end up going to The Artist. Edit: Omg, why her, again. And again, The Artist, oh well. I really need to see Hugo. 5 each for Hugo and The Artist.
Just saw the trailer as well. Looking to be more and more epic. It's going to be a great summer for Hollywood.

Batman Begins/Dark Knight = Avengers = Tintin = Kickass = Scott Pilgrim = V for Vendetta = Watchmen .................?????? Nope being the same is not a valid argument Im afraid. Those are all quite varied.
Just spent the past three hours watching The Dark Knight for the 5th or 6th time on TNT. It seriously never gets old. More excited than ever to see The Dark Knight Rises. I think it'll be the first midnight premier I go to. Going to see Batman Begins again during Spring Break. Don't really remember what happens during the movie anymore.
The Lorax raked in over $70 million this past opening weekend, holy shit. It's not even spring break yet. Looks like John Carter can definitely expect quite a bit of cash next weekend.
These days the blockbuster season begins in March. I think The Hunger Games will be the first to kick things off. John Carter barely has any advertising, let alone being too wierd looking to bring audiences out in droves. The Lorax on the other hand has been on an insane advertising blitz, including selling SUVs. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
Yeah, true enough, they've been advertising like crazy. Plus, it's a Dr.Seuss animation for the family. Formula for success. Guess we'll see how the rest of the March films do.
I've heard a lot about The Super 8, but have not watched yet. I think i should) Last film I saw was The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo, it was awesome! With an unexpectable end. I liked the soundtrack also. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHdrxavR3hs
Super 8 was really good. Definitely check it out. I don't usually like shows/movies starring kids, but the acting was excellent.
Who all seen the new trailer for The Avengers? Good stuff, only I'm a bit disappointed by Cap's costume...
Saw The Iron Giant two days ago. It's probably been ten years since the last time I saw it when it showed on Cartoon Network. Such a classic, lol. 21 Jump Street and The Lorax or John Carter this Friday!
Best movie I've seen all year was The Grey. John Carter was a pretty good movie, worth seeing. Can't wait to see The Avengers, and Wrath of the Titans.
