Watched Drive the other night 1st 45 minutes was a little slow, then bam the next 45 minutes was insane. great movie.
iv been watching a lot of old hotrod movies from the 50s/60s/70s as im building a hotrod.. so its quite funny.. i watched "hotrods from hell" last night and could not stop laughing.. man the media sure made hotrods seem like the most evil think teens could be into back in the day.. damn them hot rodders chris./
Anyone a fan of Civil War films? Glory? Gettysburg? Andersonville? Just rewatched quite a few scenes on YouTube. "Give 'em hell, 54th."
I finally got around to watching Thor. It's a mixed bag of horrible CGI and awkward comic timing that somehow manages to skip over any character development despite it's two hour run time. It's certainly not the worst superhero movie I've seen but it felt utterly pointless.
Only had time to see Moneyball, but sure glad I did. Turned out to be an absolutely incredible film, much in the same way that The Social Network was. Brad Pitt put on a great performance along with Jonah Hill. Hoping to see "Best Actor" and "Best Supporting Actor" nominations. Highly recommended for anyone.
I watched Horrible bosses its an awesome comedy movie directed by Seth Gordon and I really enjoyed it.
I think this movie will be epic, or at least I am hoping for it. Got to love trailers... http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/fox/chronicle/
agreed ^^ there has been absolutely nothing said about the film even though I am so excited since seeing the trailer last Saturday. The trailer was made perfectly. It set the premise without really giving away what the story entails (besides power crazy guy). Plus it looks so good. Also Michael (vince from FNL) is in the film which is awesome.
Ok Tintin was everything I wanted it to be. I was looking forward to it so much and I have to say it did not dissapoint at all. The animation was fantastic and the music throughout was class. Some of the action scenes were really well made, especially through Baghar. And the transitions, the sea into the puddle and the handshake into the hills, looked so amazing. Plus the amount of easter eggs dotted in the film was really cool to see. And the opening title sequence was so good.
Actually they went through 4 layers. Not including the fact that whole thing may have been a dream for the entire film.
