Warrior was class. I loved it. The fights were awesome and tom hardy is a beast. Makes me more excited to see him as bane.

Im really looking forward to Tinker Tailer Soldier Spy. It looks so good and has a brilliant cast in it.

Finally watched Fight Club. Holy crap, so much deeper than I expected. I got a little confused towards the end, though.

Fight Club is a great movie but it really takes multiple viewings to completely understand. There's a lot of things inserted into the film that are difficult to catch the first time around such as Tyler popping up in a single frame a few times before he's actually introduced. If you think the ending of the movie is confusing, you should try reading the book.

At the end of the novel Edward Norton's character realizes the bombs aren't going to go off and only then decides to shot himself because it's his only way out. After that he dies and has a conversation with god (from his point of view) whom tells him he's wrong and people are in fact unique and special or winds up in a mental institution.

Saw Drive. Pretty solid, though not as great as critics are making it out to be.

It's not a remake, it's a prequel. Basically the same as the first movie only most if the characters don't speak English and everyone is 100% gurenteed to die at the end. I don't really see the point, the CGI can't compare to the exellent special effects of Carpenter's film and there's no Kurt Russel. I enjoyed both The Thing from Another World and The Thing but a prequel to a remake? No thanks.

Yea well thanks for that but all (self imposed) critics aside I think it will be worth watching. Or at least I'll hold judgement till I actually have seen it.

    But that's just me.....

I dont mean to poop on your penguin, just stating my opinion. Classic special effects expecially when they're as well done as the thing's reduced to CGI is a pet peeve of mine, that's all. Personally I prefer the original 1950's version where the thing was an outer space vegetable man.

Drive and 50/50 were great. I'd recommend seeing the two movies.

Still need to see The Help.

Just saw Drive. Really, really enjoyed it. Best movie of 2011, I think. Either that or Xmen. It seems to be very liked by film buffs and not as liked for casual moviegoers, i.e. those that like Transformers. Being a potential film major, I really love dissecting movies and this is one that makes you think. I really enjoyed the use of sound in this movie, as well as the lack of dialogue.

Be warned, it isnt really an action movie, its more of a slightly stylized take on real life and real crime, featuring tremendous gore and not a lot of gunplay. Still, I really enjoyed it and am still thinking about it hours later. I'll probably go see it again with my friend when I get back home next week.

    8.5/10
