Transformers actually wasn't too bad. Better than Revenge of the Fallen, but that's not saying much.

Sounds like it's worth watching then. Going to go see that along with Cars 2 on Friday. Any more comments on either film?

Holy shit, they're two long movies.

Excited to watch Transformers 3 tonight and July 4th weekend :p 37% is still bad but who gives a hoot. Too bad Cars 2 has IMAX 3D for two weeks. Transformers should have this Friday but no  3D should be okay.

I saw it in IMAX, and I dunno. I forgot it was in 3D an hour in or so. Maybe it's because I got used to it, but who knows.

Just saw Toy Story 3 for the first time today. Wow! Amazing! From start to finish I was intrigued. Better than Up imo.

But, did anyone notice the similarities between the beginning of TS3 and the beginning of Fast Five? That was crazy.

Don't read this unless you have seen the ENTIRE movie:
LOL at Ken taking over as leader after Lotso is gone. :D

Finding Nemo, Toy Story 2 and Ratatouille are my favs from Pixar. Toy Story 3 was okay.

Saw Transformers 3 yesterday and it was awesome! The movie did play out a little too long, as does all of Bay's films...

Well, I'm trying to decide which one I like more. Up is definitely one of my all time favorite animated movies.

The top 4 Pixar films of all time:

Up, Ratatouille, Finding Nemo, and Toy Story 3. I could beaver get into WALL-E though. I thought it was kind of boring...

PSSHH... you're just boring. And you're all wrong. Best Pixar movie is The Incredibles.

ROTF was the first movie that I was seriously considering walking out on. I was with my family though, or else I would have.

It better be damn better than that.

I was surprisingly impressed by Transformers 3... That too, in 3D. The effects were great and didn't feel just 'added in' for the sake of it. Glad I chose it over the normal 2D one - the action sequences were brilliant. Far better than the first 2, IMO.

+1, I thought Transformers 3 was pretty darn awesome. Better than 2 by far..not sure how the critics shot down the movie so badly. It didn't even feel like the run time was too long..the length was perfect for me. The ending was way too sudden though, especially since this is probably the end to the series. Tons of emotions and surprises in this one in comparison to the other two movies. It's not just all action scenes, which is awesome. They had just the right amount.

Cars 2, on the other hand, was just a disappointment. The first one was actually a very good movie in my opinion. Cars 2 has to be the worst movie Pixar has made; no doubt, it is. There's a sharp turn in this one from all of their other animations. I can't believe how much violence and deaths (even if they're cars) there was in the movie. Felt like they were shooting a freaking action film..the cuteness factor of their other films was COMPLETELY absent. Girlfriend didn't even like it, which is saying something, considering Cars is her favorite animation of all time besides Up. But yeah, what a mess that was. It completely deserves the poor ratings it's received from critics all around the board.

$97.2 million for Transformers during its opening weekend, making it number one this year so far. The gross revenue (over $400 million) is already double the movie's budget, 4 days after release. Can't wait to see HP7 P2 double that in two weeks.

Edit: That chick beats out Megan Fox by a mile.
