I thought Scream was great. I really enjoyed it. It didnt try to do something that wasnt needed. It was a scream movie. The start was awesome with the Stab movies showing. I kept going WTF!! every time. Its a pity Aimee Teegardens character had to die at the start as I really like her from Friday Night Lights.
Also who could not enjoy emma roberts slamming herself into the picture frame. I was laughing for ages after she did it.

And I agree, i will see harry potter but the movies are nothing compared to the books. I had fun last week when the trailer was released. I went on youtube posting tonnes of spoilers in the comments. It was quite fun.

    Rio wasn't made by Pixar...
Also, I am super excited for The Tree Of Life. As well with Super 8.

I didn't say it was. I just said it doesn't compare to Pixar classics, as they're the best at making animations in the industry in my opinion. Heh.

The way you phrased it made me assume you thought that it was made by Pixar. Sorry.

Also, no one is even on the same planet as pixar, when it comes to animated films. Although Dreamworks has done pretty good work lately, How To Train Your Dragon, Monsters Vs. Aliens, Kung Fu Panda and Megamind. I liked HTTYD better then Toy Story 3. Probably in minority there. Plus, the trailer for Cars 2 is awful, so Dreamworks could catch up, although, then again, Dreamworks has Puss in Boots and Kung Fu Panda 2 coming out so maybe it evens out

I was deeply surprised at the quality that was in How to Train Your Dragon. It's probably the first Dreamworks film that actually holds a candle to anything major that Disney has put out. It helps that they brought in one of the old Disney directors from Lilo and Stitch, but still... :p

Looking forward to Pirates 4, even if they are milking the series a bit at this point. Just glad Geoffrey Rush will be back, he's probably my favorite of the group from the first three films. Don't know if his role will be all that major, though.

Recently I watched “The Veteran” by Matthew Hope. It is an action and thriller movie. Next I am planning to watch “Thor” by Kenneth Branagh.

Great taste of movies except for probably Jurrasic Park 2. Hard Candy is really underrated, everyone reading this should go watch it. So, go watch it!
Look up what it's about first though

Saw Thor on IMAX 3D and it was worth the watch. Good movie with funny moments. I wished they had more action scenes and a better love story but overall, it is a decent movie. Best movie of this year so far.

Watching The King's Speech tonight.. I hope it is good.

Catching it tomorrow. Sounds like it'll be pretty awesome, heheh. King's Speech was a GREAT movie. Definitely deserved the myriad of awards it received.

The night before yesterday, I watched "Eat, Pray, Love", which is adapted from a best-seller with the same name.
The heroess Lisa is played by Julia Roberts who I idol so much.
This movie is about female liberation from marriage.
I guess more women would get divorced after watching it.:D

Had anyone watched Fast (and furious) Five yet? I thought it was pretty good, probably the best in the series, which may not be saying much. There actually seemed to be less emphasis on racing and more on shooting.

Watched Thor today. Pretty funny throughout, a little lacking in action compared to other Marvel films, but it was definitely worth seeing.

Same here, it felt so, so short. The film felt quite rushed at many parts, but it got the job done decently. Not a bad movie by any means, and it'll definitely pleasure Marvel fans and people who like action films. I also saw Jump the Broom today. Had pretty low expectations since it was a comedy, but damn. Got to say, best comedy I've seen in 2011. Awesome, awesome movie and humor that's not explicit, yet very funny and enjoyable. Probably skipping the movies next week. Nothing notable is coming out. But after that and through the summer, I'll probably be going weekly since releases will start coming in masses by then.

Saw some seriously badass trailers damn..Pirates 4, Kung Fu Panda 2, Hangover 2, and X-Men: First Class all by the beginning of June. Going to be some good shit.

Have you seen Win Win, Incendies, or Source Code? Liked all better then Thor.

About Thor: Chris Hemsworth, Thor, did a fantastic job. Really sold the character. Also, a very funny action movie. I hated the other galaxy sequences though. The romance between Portman and Hemsworth was hard to believe. The first and last 25 minutes were decent, but in between was really good. Probably the wrong director for a action movie.

Did anyone stay after the credits?

+1 to everything. Haven't seen Win Win though.

What was after the credits? A trailer?
