Inception was a great movie (Personally I didn't like the ending but I can't say why) and I loved how the trailer was designed to intentionally throw off the audience a bit so they don't really know what the movie was about It's a fantastic imaginative thriller with a huge budget to make everything feel believable on a very large scale
I am used to reading books or seeing movies with endings like that - and I have come to enjoy them. But I can see where it might taint the experience slightly for some.
Me and everyone I went with understood it. You'll be surprised at how complicated it is, and how well they explain it. I think this might be my favorite movie of all time.
I'm planning to see it sometime. The fact that everyone who's gone to see it so far has said 'don't bring your stupid friends' makes me wanna see it even more.
My girlfriend and I were absolutely captivated by Inception. I thought it hit every note right (apart from not being able to understand some of the accents). I personally thought the ending was beautiful. I felt really moved by it.
Yeah, good movie mate. Trippy! Has anyone else seen Fantastic Mr Fox? What a seriously fantastic movie.
I'll be seeing Inception this friday. No better way to celebrate finishing second semester of Algebra 2 summer school than letting my brain take a backseat and just mindlessly watch a movie and munch popcorn... although apparently this is a thinking man's thriller?
Please tell me it isn't "clever" in that shitty Donnie Darko way. Totally vague and meaningless, everyone that sees it claims to understand it only because they've made up some bullshit explanation in their head which probably isn't true.
Definitely not like that. It was so captivating, and eviously brilliant, and even better than Nolan's last film, The Prestige. The creativity and time and special effects and story.... This is this year's "Avatar", maybe better! The end is such a cliffhanger, (in it's own way) I desperately want a sequel!!! Yeah, it's not your average "popcorn" movie.... You have to think a lot. Sorta like LOST. rofl, you're kidding, right? I actually agree with you for once, it was one awesome movie, might even be the best I've seen. The only thing I wish they explained better is "How did Cobb get his hands on the 'shared dreaming' technology?" OK, so it was a U.S. military technology used to simulate being on the field, but we never actually saw HOW he obtained the device used to "share dreams".
It is a very complicated movie. However the script is so well written that i had no trouble following the movie at any point.
KGameLover, yeah that bothered me too. I had no idea how the **** it was supposed to work, let alone how he got it. And what was on their wrist strap? Just a wire?
