Saw The Forest earlier today. Very mediocre to bad though I shouldn't be surprised since it's an early year horror film. The Boy is up next as another similar offering.
Saw it a couple days ago and agree. Could've been a good atmospheric horror flick, but just ended up being meh. The Boy does look good. So does the Witch.
Saw The Boy, it was alright. Mostly went to see it because of Lauren Cohan. Also picked up End of the Tour from Redbox. Movie about author David Foster Wallace starting Jason Segel and Jesse Eisenberg. I really enjoyed it, great performances. Highly recommend!
John Wick, yes I think he's back! good Action-Thriller with interesting characters. Looking forward to see more from the organization in part 2, as they're filming now. Let's be cops, haha it was kind of silly but fun. I like this kind of movies. Pootie Tang, what can I say? "Sa da tay!" It's kind of a classic now. Some favorite quotes: Spoiler Trucky: You can't beat a ho with a belt... they like that shit. Spoiler Biggie Shorty: You think that just cuz a girl likes to dress fancy and stand on the corner next to some whores, that she's hookin? Spoiler J.B.: Pootie Tang will draw you a picture of how he gonna kick your ass, then mail it to you ten days in advance. The picture gets there right? You're goin', "What the hell is this?" and then Pootie Tang knocks on your door, Promptly kicks your ass and you still won't know what happened to you!
Revenant was one of the worst movies I've half seen. I walked out of it mid way shortly after the depressing mood became downright abysmal. Sure, the setting was beautiful, but the story was so brutal and depressing. I like a good tear jerker here and there, but this was more like torture porn. Watch a man get eaten alive and lose everything important to him all while enjoying close-ups of frozen snot covered beards. Lovely! I walked out and snuck into the last 40 min of Star Wars. At least ended my movie night with a smile on my face.
Just watched Kicks. Really loved it. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel The trailer and viral marketing for Gore Verbinski's A Cure For Wellness looks amazing. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
