Yep, if anyone can make a cave cool then it really is Werner Herzog. I still love Aguirrre, The Wrath of God. Hadn't heard about his cave film but I really will give it a try. Your first post just didn't sell it but I'm with it now.
Anticipating the On Demand release of It Follows, and can't wait for The Babadook to hit Netflix April 14th And loving my new avatar
Yes... There Will Be Blood may not be for everyone, but it is one of my all time favorite movies. Top 10 for sure. Was milf Marisa Tomei nominated for her performance in The Wrestler? That was a fine movie.
Recently watched The Spectacular Now. One of the most affecting films I've seen in a very long time. It's incredible how genuine it feels, which is increasingly rare for a movie of its type. Miles Teller and Shailene Woodley are both incredibly talented and have such fantastic chemistry it.
I LOL'd on the nerdgasm part. BUt hey seriously, I think Age of Ultron is the movie of the year so far. Wouldn't y'all agree?
Same here. But 2015 hasn't been particularly good for movies so far, but there's still 8 months to go and many great titles to look forward to. PS: recent Marvel (and other superhero) movies are way over-rated
Lol. Looking forward to Ant-man honestly. Wish there was never the split with Edgar Wright. Cautiously optimistic about Jurassic World. Kinda seems like they completely abandoned Jurassic's horror roots though, which is disappointing
Wow, boy did Mad Max live up to the hype! Not only does it have some of the best practical action set-pieces in movie history, but is coupled with a really touching human story, a great sense of humor, and some brilliant callbacks to the original films
Ex Machina was an excellent movie; more people should check Ex Machina out. It Follows was good too, it was unique and I enjoyed it... that's one I'd love to see a sequel on (both actually).
I heard that the new Poltergeist movie is atrocious. Haven't seen ur but I haven't been given any other opinions on it.
