Dredd was just badass. Glad the gore toned down as the film went on. The first 30 minutes weren't unlike a Saw film.

Dredd 3D must have been quite an experience.

    Yuuuup!

I got it for under $10, and I figured what's $10 for a decently reviewed flick in amongst far too few 3D movies. I was pleasantly surprised, and I agree the initial violence was just silly and way over the top.

Even with those stumbles, I really enjoyed it. It's not a film I'm going to rewatch anytime soon, but I will and $10 is nothing for a 3 movie.

Wish it had done better in the theater, I don't get why it flopped so hard.

Oh, and while not a movie, I'd sure go to the theater to see it, Archer is the best animated show. Bar none.

Sorry Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, etc. etc. etc., Sterling Malory Archer wins. Other Barry is the bomb. Monster Truck Hands Lana is queen, and so is Duke obsessed Ray. Cyril is well, you get my point.

It's brilliantly written, simple as that. What Buffy was to Avengers is what Frisky Dingo was to Archer.

If you haven't seen it, you're missing out. H. Jon Benjamin is beyond the best.

Pointless and expensive. No bad movie was ever made good by 3D, but good movies have been made worse by 3D.

Prisoners was pretty good. Knew the plot twist was coming though. It was way too long.

There Will Be Blood was a long and strange film.

Really want to see Gravity after hearing only good things about it. $55m opening weekend, pretty spectacular.

Gravity was getting early negativity by people who'd never seen it, mostly due to the cast, I assume. I was hopeful anyway since I've been in a space nerd vibe these past few months, so I'm glad to see it's doing well. Definitely one for the Blu-ray collection.
