    No. He's Insidious...

Just watched the Insidious 2 trailer. Lol. Funny thing is, the guy that plays the dad in the Insidious movies plays the 'demonologist' in The Conjuring.

  2. Not recommending Planes then?

Elysium was alright. Decent action and plenty of violence. Not the most exciting plot. The Butler should be great.

Lee Daniel’s The Butler had some pretty powerful acting. Not a bad drama. Full house yet no teenagers at all in the theater, yay.

    Saw a few movies.

The Wolverine was a great flick, on its own I have little problems with it, but in comparison to the humor and lightheartedness of previous x-men I found it too dark and serious.

Appaloosa was a good western in its own right, but ultimately it didn't click with me. Great chemistry between the two leads, though. They just should've done more with the love triangle bit.

There Will Be Blood was extremely unsatisfying in its conclusion; it felt tacked on and out of place. Moreover, the story didn't really go anywhere. Disappointing, as I heard very good things about it previously.

Lincoln Lawyer was a great Grisham-esque film. I enjoyed it thoroughly, certainly much more than the disappointing adaptation of The Firm. Rather predictable, but strong performances.

Meh, so what. It was a great movie in the technical sense, sure, but the story just didn't come to a logical or satisfying conclusion. Some of the characterizations were out of place, too.

  7. Yeah thanks, I think I will try to see Wolverine this week.

    Cowabunga!

Fairly old now but watched it again recently and Snatch would still be one of my favourite movies, pre Jason Statham's checkered attempts since. Black humour at its best.

Yeah, Lincoln Lawyer was exciting to watch. Same goes for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.

Just watched Hanna recently. It's not super well known, but it was awesome.

Finally saw Winter's Bone. Great movie. Excellent performance by Jennifer Lawrence. Loved the film's style and pacing. Pretty much liked everything about it.

I told you. Perfect movie, perfect performances, especially Lawrence's. It's just great.. all whilst perfectly depicting that lifestyle.

    One of my top 10

Pitch Perfect was a fun movie. Just got through it. Finishing up Magic Mike now.

Edit: Magic Mike was pretty weird and quite boring.

Why the hell would any straight man watch Magic Mike.

Or Pitch Perfect for that matter.

    Because there's naked women.

Actually I didn't know what it was when I started it...

There's no excuse for this one.
