The repeating static noise in the beginning reminds me of the repeating static in Contact, the Jodie Foster 1997 movie about first contact with alien intelligence. :)

Zod looks really freaking badass here.

Saw The Dictator today. Flippin' hilarious. I LOL'd throughout the ENTIRETY of John C. Reilly's scene, awesome surprise to see him in there.

Connector would like it, even Megan Fox was in it.

The Dark Knight is my favorite superhero movie. Ever.

Saw The Promised Land the other day. Not a bad drama.

Also saw Sky Captain and The World of Tomorrow the other day. Interesting film, loved the style. Great leading cast, too.

I can't think of any superhero movie that can beat that tbh. For me it ranks as one of the best films I have seen personally.

I hope Man of Steel turns out good though as the previews have been good but I personally feel that Snyder ruined Watchmen.

Finally started reading THG two days ago. Haven't read for pleasure since the final HP. On the final chapter of THG now. Really surprised at just how closely the film followed the book. Will be watching that again in the upcoming days as I start/finish Catching Fire. The series is a pretty fun and extremely easy read. There's something a lot more naive about the writing compared to the HP books though.

Meh. I saw the THG movie, and it didn't impress me, so I have zero desire to read the books.

Indeed. I like the concept, just think it could've been executed better.

Naive? Try superior writing and narrative flow ;)

Oh, and finish the series. It's well worth it one of the best YA books I've read in a long time.

Fast and Furious 6 was superb. Not sure it tops 5, but it's pretty darn close.

Can't wait for Fast and Furious 7. ;)

    Aren't you like 14?

Anyways, just got back from Fast 6 as well. Pretty exciting. These last two have really been great. It's a series that just won't die out. Will be going to see the sequel next July.
