So much black box, what are you saying? I haven't seen it. Not rating anything. But I like sci fi over tarantino.
Translated: I don't actually know what I'm talking about. Coulda just started with that and saved me the bother of posting
Yeeeaaaa-no it isn't, space boy. No one genre is inherently better, there are good movies and there are bad movies, and that's it.
Picked up Silence of the Lambs and Seabiscuit from the library today. Will report back with my findings
This. All movies have a plot, have characters and have the standard beginning, middle and end. You could have a movie shot up Obama's rectum and and while I would assume the majority of the movie would be a comment on the specific location, it would still have the same tropes of all the best movies. Because let's be honest, that movie could knock off Citizen Kane from its pedestal, how could it not? O M G She is so gross it's not even funny. The work she had done pre Transformers was one thing, but now she looks like some sad excuse for a dumpy wax doll. It's nasty. Yeeeuck. And TMNT was ruined the second Bay got attached to it. As terrible as the original movies were back in the 80s, at least they had a lot of heart and soul. Bay takes any soul and puts them down the toilet. It's a bummer.
I agree with everything you just said. Have you seen Iron Man 3 yet, andsoitgoes? I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. I thought it could've been a LOT better, I was disappointed by it.
I haven't yet, and I'm not sure I'll be able to, I can't easily get out to the movies, so you might need to wait... Until August =\ But I'm biased. It has Shane black and RDJ. They could spend the movie with him scooting around on his butt for the whole of the film and I'd probably still like it. So... August. Sigh.
silence is too old of a movie to be any good now days. seabiscuit movie just stinks, better to see a history channel true story of the horse/jockey which i thought was better.
Silence will always be an awesome movie. That's a crazy thing to say. It being old doesnt negate it from being a classic. God I can't stop watching Archer.
Truth. It's not even that old. Even if it was it's still better than the majority of the stuff released post-2000.
Can't say I was disappointed in the least. RDJ does it big. In any case, it's going to be a huge summer for films. Hope there are fewer disappointments this time around.
