Never knew there are soundtrack fans here in TA. Just heard Valkyrie's soundtrack a few days ago and one of the suites is so freakin haunting. Score done by John Ottman. Youtube: They'll Remember You
Needless to say, the soundtrack from the first iron man rocked. Especially the part when Tony puts on the painted armor for the first time.
No, I'm talking about most of the movie soundtracks. They really fit the scene with which their put into.
Saw Inception, and to be honest I think it's something I'll probably see again. Not because I didn't understand it (I actually started to understand when the train slid through the city) but because how interesting the story was. You guys were right, and I'm thankful I saw it. Thanks!
So you obviously figured out that the entire movie is a construct of Mal's mind fighting her greatest fears and regrets while she battles terminal illness, right? Cobbs' constantly trying to return to her kids is her inner emotions feelings regret for leaving all that she loved behind after she ditched her husband for a biker dude that could promise her an exciting life even though he ended up working at a T-Mobile kiosk? When she appears in her old dream, it's her subconscious telling herself it's not too late to say good-bye, but she still can't let go of her addiction to meth (Saito's obsession of coming out ahead in his industry). The other characters in her psychological construct are the other facets of her personality. Eames in her identity crisis, Fischer her insecurity with her relatives, Arthur, the serious no non-sense personality she's always had, etc.
Inception was okay I mean I enjoyed the acting and the storyline is pretty cool but idk I just didn't really love it.
I'll probably end up picking it up on Blu-ray and watching it in the superior comfort of my own home I need to start making a list of films I'm waiting for on Blu-ray/DVD, I can never remember when I'm in the store.
Inception looks good, but from the trailers I am not 100% about whats goin to go on in the movie. My dad didnt like it and said no one he talked to liked it, but yet the reviews are really good. Also just saw Prom Night (2008.. i think) and it was one of the better horror movies ive seen in a while, but i think this could be more considered as a Thriller. I saw that one with the alien that grew up and raped the girl, and f*cked the guy, but I cant remember the name of it. It was pretty good, definitely not sticking to a plain slasher or horror but it was alright. It really didnt get scary/suspenseful till the last little bit though.
Yeah, I said better horror movies ive seen in a while. I haven't seen to many, which is why i stated an opinion ?
I think you should go into the movie with a blank slate. I didn't find anything out about the movie once I knew it was good as I wanted to experience it all. Also did he say why he did not like it??
Yeah, I did. Completely awesome. Unfortunately, the soundtracks used in the sequel weren't THAT epic. They were average...so was the plot.
So I rented Let the right one in, for my family to see. It was the wrong subtitles. Do you know how ****ing pissed off I am. I am beyond pissed. They seriously ****ed up. DAMNIT! Someone's gonna pay.
