I like it ;). Fitting for how I felt ;)

TS3 had 15 years of lead up and character connection to build on. I didn't feel insanely emotional over TS1 or 2, the 3rd went above an beyond and REALLY gave a vital and important emotional play.

But that scene from Ralph was amazing, it was one of the most powerful and emotionally complex scenes I've seen in a Disney film. Her reaction was equally as important.

Flargh. You just didn't see it in the time that the rest of us did. I watched it back when it came out, when I entered into the workforce and had a job similar to theirs. Some things were forgettable, the main character particularly, but the climate of the 90s solidified it for us.

It's like Sunset Boulevard or any classic movie, saying the the acting is a bit stilted or strange in comparison NOT that I'm comparing office space to classic cinema. I think it might have been less forgettable if you were a different person at a different time.

Having been through "consultants", crappy jobs and that world gave me more perspective. I think if you go back to it in 5 or 10 years, you might see it differently.

All of this. I've never been a stupidly huge fan of Mann, BUT, DDL could fart on screen for 3 hours and I'd probably watch it.

DDL was a 10, the movie maybe a 7 or 8, depending on the day.

I love the Coen brothers. I LOVE Pitt and Clooney and I felt a bit, fat, smelly MEH after watching the film. The acting was perfect, the writing was excellent, the direction was great but meh. Just, meh. I was so excited when I watched it, but it felt stupidly flat for me. When you have that much overwhelming talent in one room, to have it be anything but amazing is truly frustrating. I was really bummed, and you've made me more bummed just talking about it. Thanks, jerk.

    ;)

Oh, no movies today...TV. Mad men and Game of Thrones.... Just damn. DAYAM. I'm not caught up on GOT in book form so this is all new and surprising, and Im not disappointed because its not living up to the book, I get really frustrated and can't turn that off. So watching first then reading is a better solution, or having a decently sized gap between the reading and watching.

Mad men is, well, mad men. A show where very little can happen but at the same time, so much happens.

Haha sorry :p I'll still watch it and give it a go. I'll haven't seen a film with Pitt and Clooney since Oceans, and even though 12 and 13 weren't so good, I still found it quite enjoyable with those two.

I'm probably gonna wait for S3 to finish airing before I start watching again. I'll have to go back and watch the last couple eps as well to catch up on everything.

    Haven't seen Mad Men.

andsoitgoes, do you watch Homeland and/or Breaking Bad?

Also got Borat and Blood Diamond today. Been wanting to see them for ages but never got the time.

You guys keep talking about Wreck it Ralph, perhaps I should watch it also hmmmmm. But I accidentally read the spoiler, but fortunately have forgotten what the spoiler was. Hmmmmmm

    HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

  6. That was pretty good. I gotta get out to see some movies again soon. Should be some good movies in the theaters now. Last time saw oz, jack and the beanstalk, and die hard. All were ok.

You mean 2 of the best shows on TV? Uh, yeah. I do. LOVE THEM, and am amazed at how they'll continue things. While I may complain about current movie quality, mad men, got, homeland and breaking bad make up for that.

Is this going to turn into a Crash Test Dummies song? ;). The spoiler doesn't ruin anything. The story as a whole is more substantial than one thing.

Good :) There seems to be so many people in the Lounge who haven't or have just started watching BB.

I don't think I've heard of anyone who has seen Homeland other than you and I now...

Haha, nah :p I think I may make a special exception and add it to my watch list then! It'll be part of a very very exclusive list ;)

Yeah, I never really watched much TV, but I've been catching up on some shows lately. So Mad Men's worth watching, eh?

Oh and Kenny, watch Wreck-It Ralph, dangit!

I guess it didn't make me sad because I did the same thing when I grew up, and it's really no big deal. The movie is exaggerating to the extreme.

Well, I will slap a baby duck if you don't watch Wreck-It Ralph. Do it for the the duck.

Now, I don't get breaking bad. Like I've never seen any episodes, but the IMDB description doesn't seem too exciting. Convince me.

EDIT: Never mind, just saw you explained it in the Chatroom.

Sounds like a deal. But like I said, I'm still trying to find Django. It is at Redbox, right? 'Cause everytime I go, it's not there.

EDIT: Oh wow, it's not even at Redbox yet. Lol, stupid me. I just checked the website. It's coming soon, though.
