He was funny I didn't say I didn't like it. I said it was pretty forgettable. As with In Bruges, I've had experiences with movies where I'm not able to understand everything they say, and often it's important to the film. That's why I like subtitles.
Pretty much the main consensus yeah. I still can't believe you haven't watched Django E: And also my previous question, anyone seen Gangster Squad?
Saw Oz tonight, Last of the Mohicans last night. Both highly recommended. They're both very different but well worth your time. Oz is a cute and original family film, Mohicans is a fairly accurate, very focused (in terms of storytelling) drama based on the classic book. Oh and both movies had great casts.
Yes it is. I really appreciated how the viewer is tense and on edge not because the movie is excessively violent or graphic, but because of the connection with the characters and some genuinely dark themes and situations - all without feeling "censored" or "dumbed down". I wish more movies did that; much of the time throwing a bunch of gore at you is a sign of laziness and lack of ideas (there are a lot of exceptions though).
JBRUU, do you always go offline straight after making a post? I swear I've never seen a green dot next to your name
I turned on "invisible mode". Basically you can't see when I'm online or when I've last been online. After the RR3 thread(s) I really cut back on the amount of posting and activity I had in the community.
