I wasn't listing the top three of all time, just putting those ones in the appropriate order.

I usually don't enjoy romance type films, but Silver Linings is one of the best.

Well, I'm not arguing. A man is entitled to his own opinion. Oh and that also goes for women. If any girl actually visits this place >_>

    Just putting it out there.

If you haven't seen Gattaca, put it on top of your watch list, but behind Django.

Man up, stop complaining that you can't get stuff to work properly on your various sites! :p. figure it out and drop a few bucks or just do it the manly way :p

    ;)

Watched Badlands and A Man Escaped tonight. To try and not "write a book" to confuse killjoy - they're good, but probably too heady for all-a yall... Other than maybe Midian. You all would probably fall asleep at Escaped, which is one of the best films I've ever seen. Truly awesome. Badlands was Malick being Malick, with a bit more insanity and a lot more talking. Martin Sheen for president!

Lol, what's the manly way? :)

And what does "too heady" mean? I'm a big boy, I can handle it :D

Also, andsoitgoes, have you seen Gattaca and what did you think of it?

    PM me

A Man Escaped will put you to sleep. I almost guarantee that. It's a brilliant movie, but it's a slow movie about a man in a prison cell. It isn't "exciting", but it's DJ Qualls best performance ;) (seriously, check out a pic of the main actor)

Gattaca I loved. I saw it in the theater, and have seen it many time since then. It was brilliant, and one lf Hawke's best performances. Have you seen it yet?

It was quite good. Even better if you like Malick (Tree of Life, Thin Red Line, Days of Heaven). The biggest difference with Badlands is that there's a LOT more talking, a lot more script. In his later films, he focused so much more on the cinematography. He was making visual statements. For the thin red line, he cut hours of dialogue. Here, it's different. It's more of a standard film, but that's not a bad thing in any way.

I'm watching The Battle for Algiers, so far it's brilliant. I strongly urge anyone to watch it. It's especially poignant in our political climate. Puts our occupation of the Middle East in a different light, for sure.

I agree, I love Gattaca as well. Jude Law's performance was great, also.

Watched the ending of In Time (didn't get to the first time, on TV)

It's actually a really good movie. I highly recommend it.

Gattaca is a great movie. Add it to your watch list k1lljoy if you haven't seen it already. Got Uma Thurman as well.

I watched Silver Linings last night. More rom than com, but very enjoyable. JL was very very hot I agree <3

It was really awesome seeing Chris Tucker in the film. It reminded me of almost my favourite comedy: Rush Hour.

Rush Hour stars Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, and it's an action comedy. The fight scenes are awesome, and Tucker is absolutely hilarious. You should watch it. I've only seen the first one though.
