    From iMDB:

It sounds pretty awesome, but many of these films usually let us down.

I loved the book, so I'm hoping the movie will be as good.

Plus, the movie has a pretty damn good cast. I'm looking forward to it.

Just watched "Oz the Great and Powerful" and I need to blow off some serious steam. And if you don't know already this will be a rant unless that's againts the rules then let's call this a review.
Okay the movie started innocently enough in good old fashion B&W. The lines were okay-ish and the presentation of the whole thing was actually quite well done except for James Franco's horrible acting. But I've seen worst so I'll let that go. Then around 15 minutes in a giant behemoth of a hurricane sweeps Franco into the land of OZ! the place where gruesome acting, sexualized ugly woman and lazy script writing reside. How magical.
Everything that follows this part in the film is F**KING HORRIBLE. Ive seen better CGI in Boa vs. Python, my god. Then we are introduced to the three "witch sisters" one of which is the f**king horrible, but-ugly, self absorbed, B*tch of a woman Mila Kunis whom I hate with the passion of a million suns. Her acting was atrocious to say the least. I also noticed that Mila Kunis was SOOO dolled up to the maximum extreme! In real life shes just another wanna be actress with no talent! So yeah. Another thing I noticed is the literal unbelievable cast. All threes witches don't even look like freakin sisters! One of them is blond with an English accent, the other is Kunis with her BLACK hair and tan complection, and the last who looks like a Canadian! How are these woman suppose to be sisters!? You PEOPLE ARE SO DUMB I HATE YOU ALL!
All I want to say is that THIS KINDS OF "FILM?" ARE PIECES OF GARBAGE AND THE ACTORS WHO STAR IN THEM SHOULD BE BANNED FROM EVER ACTING IN A MOVIE EVER AGAIN. PERIOD. tl;dr: dont watch this "movie":mad::mad::mad::mad:

It was a pretty boring day and the alternative would have been "Olympus has Fallen". I'm pretty sure I made the better decision of the two.
