Egh.

The transformer movies are bloated, stupid messes that take the source material, put it in the toilet and take the worlds most gargantuan and steaming crap over top of it.

I went in to the first one with an open mind, but good lord. Michael Bay is scarily close to Uwe Boll now. The Rock and Bad Boys are the only GOOD things he's done.

Megan Fox, sorry, is a rail thin fake girl who seems to only attract people in their early 20s and below. I would take Emma stone in a millisecond over Fox, who is so void of any sort of personality it's hilarious.

I'll put it simply, the Transformer Movies suck. They suck. They SUCK. It hurts me that Peter Cullen even came back as Optimus for the crappy script and story.

Want a good transformers experience? Go buy War for Cyberton on the 360. The story is a billion times better.

And as for the action in the movies, it's sloppy and incorehensible to figure out what's going on. He zooms in either too close or too far, it's blurry and sloppy, and there's TOOOOO much going on.

Go watch the corny original series or watch the awesome Transformers: Prime series with some awesome voice actors.

Meh. That's where we will disagree . I like the awesomeness of AT and P&F far more. No matter which way you slice it, MLP is rooted in little girlyness. The constant moralizing takes it down some pegs.

 

Except the story and acting in Avengers is awesome, versus the crap of Transformers.

It's like saying Batman and Robin (1997) is comparable to Batman: The Movie/Batman Begins because they both have Batman doing batman things.

 

All true.

But, sometimes, you can enjoy an often hilarious action movie like transformers, and ignore the story and Fox's shit acting and just have fun with it, and focus on Fox's body rather than her acting and plastic face.

They're fun, funny, movies. But bad, stupid movies in reality.

 

Batman Begins, Dark Knight, and Dark Knight Rises are freakin awesome, freakin great, and three of my favorite movies.

Especially the Dark Knight

More accurately, it's like saying Batman And Robin is comparable to any movie released in the last 16 years because they were released in the last 16 years

Bale's "Batman Voice" is one of the most ridiculous things in movie history.

 

Yeah well, it's meant as a "disguise" or whatever to make him not recognizable.

 

I completely agree.

 

One movie imo I saw that made me sad was ATLA: The Movie. It made me sad after finishing it because... Well it was just indescribable. In the worst way ever. Goosebumps for how bad it was D:

 

I think his voice sounded good in Batman Begins. In the other two his voice did get pretty ridiculous, but I mean, it's not like he's gonna go around sounding exactly like Bruce Wayne.


I mean, if we're gonna be technical, the whole Bat-suit is ridiculous. Come on, a grown man dressed as a bat?

But, remember what Ra's told him in BB, "Theatricality and deception are powerful tools."

So he like, uses his voice and his Batsuit as his way to become something more intimidating in the eyes of his foes.

Rumors spread of this batman who can fly, who isn't human, and if he talked like a regular man, there goes his image.

I realize this probably makes no sense.

 

I cannot excuse the Batman voice. There's no same reason for it to get as insane as it is now. The older Bale gets, the crazier he gets... I really wonder if he was a lot more similar to his American Psycho role than we realized.



Having read the book, Bale embodied the character so much it is terrifying. TERRIFYING. He's also one of the only reasons the movie is good, the director totally missed the point of Ellis' book. Her interview left me so disappointed and wishing I'd never listened to it.

Well I watched Dr. Strangelove last night, I was struggling to stay awake by the end.

Seriously, I don't understand how you can rate that a classic. And it has a friggin score of 96 on Metacritic? What the hell?

That movie is going to put me off those older movies for some time, I'm gonna stick with the 80's and onwards now.

The only good thing I have to say is the conversation between the Presidents, that was pretty funny.
