I haven't seen an episode of Star Trek either...sadly there isn't a TV channel which does science-fiction programmes where I can watch all of them...even though we have a shopping channel...and 5 music channels...and for a brief period a fashion channel...we do have an HBO channel though...sadly I don't have that one NZ needs a science-fiction channel and an anime channel...and we need My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic on a channel
Adventure Time > Phineas and Ferb > My little Pony And I can happily say that no matter what, I can justify watching all this stuff because I have children Anyway, if I do nothing in raising my children, I will ensure they have been forced through the original ST movies AS WELL as some of the TNG series, plus the new movie series because, well, the TNG movies weren't great =\ The fact that there are people on the planet who don't know the series, Geordy, Data, Wesley Crusher... Saddens my heart. I get the series were fairly corny, but I mean crap! They're staples of sci fi! And The Next Generation was the best sci fi TV series EVER EVER EVER. And while this may explain why I didn't have a girlfriend in high school, one of my favorite library books was this detailed episode guide and trivia for the series. Yes. That's right. I went to the library. I checked out BOOKS. I checked out, wait for it... CDs! My most memorable? Dennis Leary's "No Cure for Cancer". To this day I still have his main song going through my head. One that is very apropos for now is this hook: "Sometimes I park in handicapped spaces While handicapped people make handicapped faces" ^_^
Anyone got some more movies today. They are: 12 Monkeys Amelie Dr Strangelove Good Will Hunting Kill Bill Vol 1 Leon the professional One flew over the cuckoo's nest Scarface Godfather parts 1 and 2 The lives of others andsoitgoes, what do you think? Seen all of them? I'll be watching strangelove tonight, let you know what i think of it tomorrow.
Hahah. Yes. Most of them multiple times. Love Kill Bill, but then I love Tarantino. Actually, wait. There's one I haven't seen, the lives of others. NO idea how that slipped through my radar! Amazon, here I come. I'll blind buy almost anything that highly regarded if it includes a commentary track. They are like double the movie. Some of my favs are Kurosawa commentaries, Seven/Fight Club, and that's all I can think of. Good commentaries are absolutely amazing. 12 Monkeys is another favorite of mine, as is One Flew. Good list there indeed. Scarface, like Goodfellas, Raging Bull and the ilk were never great for me. I own them, and technically they're excellent, but the characters are vacant of any redeeming qualities. I don't need angels, I love many movies where there are no "good guys", but there needs to be SOMETHING, some heart for me to really lov it. Ugh, I need NEED to watch 12 Angry Men again. That was such a good movie. Sadly, the entire cast is all gone now, the last surviving member passed a short while back. Amen. Finally, some sanity. Though, enterprise.... That's... Well, it is ST and that makes it decent, but I never enjoyed it, and I love Bacula. Why in the name of all that is Carell and Ferrell am I still awake?
Uuummm....well.... If you don't like plastic Megan Fox, skip them If you like a story, skip them If you don't want to be met with 50000 explosions a second, skip them
Y'know, let's look at Transformers 3 and the Avengers, they both have armies invading from out of space, they both have giant ships, Y'know I have a meme for this, but I can't find it.
You gif the truth. Dude you stare at babes quite a bit in the Transformers movies that you forget about the story. See if the movie has no babes but story, you'll focus on that more, but if it doesn't have both, well ._.
