It's like I don't want to, there's just too many to watch. I already have Django, Life of Pi and Seven Psychopaths on my comp. They just keep getting pushed further and further back in my watchlist.
Django was amazing. It lost a fair bit of steam in the last 1/3rd, but Waltz and DiCaprio were so fantastic, I couldn't give a crap. Waltz is my favorite current actor, and if he was in everything the world would be a better place. Him winning the Oscar was literally so awesome, this is how I felt: If I was a smarter person, I would have bet $2k when he was the serious underdog. I knew that man would win. He wins everything. Yes. This. Hell, I'd forgive you not watching Strangelove to watch Django.
I've got enough to spend on as it is on games and school fees. I only buy tickets to watch the new movies, never spend any money on watching the old ones.
Personally I prefer Up In The Air. However since you like to be brain fugged, then you'll probably like Shutter Island.
Can't watch either tonight, only getting 6 hours of sleep anyway, don't want 4 But yeah I'll watch Shutter Island first. Then Air
Up in the air is light and a smidge depressing. I haven't yet seen SI, it's been low on my must see list for a while. But watch the strange glove tonight IF you are in the mood, ONLY if you are in the mood. Django is more of a "whatever" kind of mood, you have to be willing to pay attention to enjoy the glove
Why are old movies so awesome? Because they had to use cameras like this: Directors today gots it EASY. Godard had to record like this for Breathless:
