Y'all are too damn young. Go watch some REAL movies. Yojimbo, Seven Samurai, 400 Blow, The Seventh Seal, Dr. Strangelove, 12 Angry Men, the first Godfather movie or anything made prior to the 80s. Now, I'm not old enough to have been alive when those were made, but I sure as snot recognize their greatness. True brilliance and integrity to the stories, something that's sorely missing these days. That said, Wreck-It Ralph was freaking amazing. One of the most enjoyable films I've seen in a very long time, it hit all the right notes from my childhood. I thought Tangled was one of the best Disney films this generation, but Ralph surpassed even that. I think much has to do with John C. Riley, Sarah Silverman and especially Allan Tudyk. Ah hell everyone is excellent in the film. Let us just say, it's good to have kids.. Makes it easier to justify watching these films
Nassica of The Valley of The Wind Explorers Creepshow 1&2 too afraid to watch 3 Brainstorm i guess im allowed to dream b4 i go see the two legends work together... & then again i think ill pass on that for now.
You seem like you really know your films, you should post here more often Out of all those you mention, I've only seen 12 Angry Men. It's amazing how a film that centers around one room can keep you so captivated. The dialogue is absolutely brilliant. I'm trying to get myself to watch more B&W films. Dr Strangelove I've heard a lot about, it's a comedy right? I'll also take a look at the others you mention. Has anyone watched Strangers on a Train?
This is my watchlist, listed in A-Z form excluding 'the' and when movies are in chronological order. I'll just say I don't watch a lot of movies. I got this list from movies I've wantes to see for a while plus recommendations on the forums. Pffffft, says you! In other news, looking for another movie to watch in the vein of Wreck-it-Ralph or something similarly family-oriented. Not really seeing anything though, so at the moment it's a toss-up between The Hobbit and the first GI Joe. (because both are totally family-friendly... >_> )
Nice, I like people posting their watch list as it gives me a few rec's as well I'm due for the night, but will have a closer look tomorrow!
Trolled by a mod! Ha! Does it have to be an animated films, is it because there will be kids watching as well? You've might've already seen it, but maybe try Kick Ass? I don't know lol.
