Yeah, I think he deliberatly left some holes open so if you put this theory in, it's not certain, if you plug that theory in, there's still holes, so on and so forth.
I suggest watching Batman: Under the Red Hood which just came out today. Don't let the cartoon animation throw you off, it's is one of the best Batman movies ever made. It totally made up for Salt which I thought was beyond horrible.
Even though I'm almost fifteen, all my friends and me watched it and we thought it was a stellar movie. One of the great Batman movies even though it was a cartoon. Also, what's with all the Inception hype? I saw it and I thought it was just "okay". A lot of people have said that it is one of the best movies they have ever seen.
I'm gonna see the A-team and Karate Kid in the space of like, a few days or something. Both of which are current day adaptations of previous classics. I'll see if they live up to the name or not.
Karate Kid sucked in my opinion, always go with the original. As for the A-Team, I thought it was hilarious and very cool. I'm gonna go see Dinner For Shmucks soon.
The A-Team got a 49% on Rotten Tomatoes. Doubt that'll live up to the name, but then again, I've loved certain movies that got crappy reviews. The Karate kid scored 20% higher, but seriously? The underdog story has been retold hundreds of times, and the only reason the original was any good was because the story was relatively fresh and it had Mr. Miyagi... and Elisabeth Shue Only reason Jaden Smith is in that movie is because of his dad.
Eh, it's the A-Team, it prides itself on OTT and utterly ridiculous action, so I'm not surprised at the score it got on Rotten Tomatoes (which seems to expect every film to explore the meaning of life and such). But I guess I'll judge it when I see it.
Inception isn't one of the best movies ever, but it's one of the better movies of this year. And anyway... to the person who was going to see The A-Team... just don't. Please.
I kinda got the story. Maybe that's why I thought it was okay. I'll have to look at it again. My bad. Thanks BR, you cleared it up.
I thought the A Team was great. Granted, I was with my best buds and we were excited for the night of drinking that followed it, but it was crazy awesome and really funny. The acting was pretty good also, and I love 3/4 of the main cast (Rampage is only ok.)
Also I dont listen to movie critics, they are usually all snobby assholes who never enjoy movies, and always critique them instead of just watching them. For my reviews I use Metacritic, but only the reader scores. A-Team has a 7.8, and The Karate Kid has a 6.5. Both of those scores seem about right. Always trust the average moviegoer, **** the critics.
Rotten Tomatoes (along with IMDB) - Pretty much help me decide what movie to see next. I guess I like my critics.
Karate Kid was entertaining, but it wasn't technically great. Firstly, the movie is set in China, and features Kung-Fu, not Karate (otherwise it would have been set in Japan). SPOILER And the way Dre's mother supported him in the tournament was unrealistic. Earlier in the movie, she was freaking out because he got a black eye. Then at the tournament, when Dre broke his leg, she was cheering for him and telling him to get up and fight! SPOILER
