I totally agree. Murray and SJ's chemistry together was great, brilliant performances! I love Murray's subtle humor throughout the entire film. It's like Roger Eber said in his review, Full review here: http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20030912/REVIEWS/309120302/1023
Haha!! It's definitely the cast and acting that put this movie through. I can't imaging any other actress in the world who might've possibly done a better job than SJ. Anyway, what did you think?
Anyway, I watched Up In The Air last night starring George Clooney. No expectations going into the film, but by the end was pleasantly surprised. Pretty good flick, I'd recommend it to you guys! I also think we may found another looker! Anna Kendrick! She was quite cute Pics later.
Yeah I know Anna Kendrick from End of Watch (another highly recommended movie) As for lost in translation.. Not my style of movie. Was a very odd plot. That being said I enjoyed it a lot. The cast was great, Murray and his subtle humor carried it. And SJ.
There actually wasn't much of a plot involved, it's more of just a story of the relationship between two people. In which case, I agree, it was an odd plot. Or non-plot if you will.
Yep. Since there was really no plot, you focus a lot more the actors. And that's where the movie shines.
Unless it's LiT, I've never understood why people like re-watching films, especially when there are so many to watch. Nevertheless, TDKR was an excellent film, although I place it behind TDK and BB.
.. As much as I enjoyed it, LiT is one of the last movies i'd re-watch, I don't care who the cast was.
@backtothis, Yup, one of the best ways possible to end a trilogy. Brilliant. @KennyK and K1lljoy, Yeah, I have to agree with K1lljoy. LiT, in my opinion, is one of those movies you watch once, since it's more of a work of art than entertainment. Like, you soak it all in the first time, there's no reason to watch it over and over again. Just my opinion. There are some movies I don't mind watching over and over, and TDK trilogy are some of those movies. Same with the LOTR trilogy.
