Don't have too many movies I still need to see out of the nominations. Just four: Wreck-It Ralph, Lincoln, Life of Pi, and Les Mis.

  3. I kind of fell asleep watching Lincoln and Les Mis, but missed Life of Pi, shoulda gone to see it. Didn't see Silver linings though.

Argo was ok, just don't know if it was really the best picture.

Where was dark knight? That was the best movie.

Movies designed to attract the crowd never make the nominations. The only exception this year was Skyfall.

  5. The fact that The Dark Knight Rises didn't get an Oscar nomination, though Snow White And The Huntsman got 2 made my list of things I hate from the modern world

I think the last would be the LOTR series...

JL won leading actress. DDL leading actor. No surprises there I guess.

  7. Oscars were
Enjoyable though. Lots of singing and dancing.

So what does everyone think of Spider-Man's new costume for TAS2? I think it looks awesome, closer to the Ultimate Comics suit.

Saw United 93 last night. The ending was intense, but pretty boring during the rest of the film, despite all the commotion.

If you haven't seen it, United 93 was one of the hijacked planes on 9/11.

I know right? I'm really looking forward to this sequel. The Amazing Spider-Man was solid, but I think it could really be improved upon in the next one.

I fail to see a big difference here. More ... red, eh?

Here's a comparison image from the first film.

So yeah, more red, webs and spider are more detailed and debossed, it looks like. The main difference is the eyes. They're bigger.

    Yup.

And yeah they do look like the Ultimate Spider-Man suit, that was my initial reaction.

Apparently, Electro's suit will be based on the Ultimate design, too.
