First the prestige, then batman 1 and 2 and now inception. Nolan knows how to make movies. Inception was so brilliant and hard to believe most of it had no cgi. You don't see that these days. Also great to see the Irish representation in the movie. Also more people need to see the prestige. It's such a great movie yet barely no one sees it. The ending is so class although I now prefer inceptions.
I HATED that movie, completely forgot I even saw it until you brought it up. Keanu Reeves definitely didn't make it any better. And when the big robot (Gork or something) stomped up, then turned into a bunch of nanobots... Well I don't even know what to say about that. I agree with all of those points. When that one Mexican pilot said "I've got guns too bitch," I wanted to punch James Cameron so hard for thinking that was a good/funny line. As for Cuckoo's Nest, yes. Loved the book, loved the movie.
Watched Inception, really well done. Gotta say, they were really creative when it came to such a vague topic like dreams. Fill in most plot holes and moved the story along a great (for the most part) pacing. Mol's presence was an interesting factor in the story, and the ending... well, pissed me off a little, but the uncertainty is way more satisfying cinematically then just making it happily ever after.
I am yet to see Avatar, but just by looking at it, it makes me think of some ****ed up fantasy pornography.
LOL @ Avatar coming back to the Cinema is August. I think it's something like 7 Extra minutes of footage. Utter balls.
Toy Story 3 was God damn awesome. I nearly cried cause it was so full of nostalgia and sweet toy cuddling moments. I'm going to sleep like the innocent baby that I am now.
Avatar was terrible - the scenery shots were fun to look at in 3d - everything else was a waste of 20 dollars at the time. Just watched The Losers - I can't believe that actually got made, somebody funded that... really??? Last good movies I saw were Pirate Radio, and Inception. I also re-watched Dark City & Beetle Juice recently. How about The Last Waltz, anybody ever watched it? It is my favourite Scorsese movie.
Are you kidding. Kickass was amazing. Hitgirl steals the show from everyone. She's an insane mothertrucker with awesome background music in fights. Plus, Nicholas Cage actually doesn't suck!
Agreed brother. She's becoming a big actress after the role in KA. She's the main in the remake of Let The Right One In etc... P.S - IF you wanna see Cage REALLY not sucking, you should check out Port of Call New Orleans.
