Apparently Looper is supposed to be pretty good. Really looking forward to it! What other notable movies come between now and the end of the year? The Hobbit, James Bond: Skyfall, The Great Gatsby, Taken 2, Argo, Django, Cloud Atlas... What else is there?
There's no doubt in my mind that I've seen Finding Nemo more times than any film out there. It's still Pixar's defining work after all these years. Definitely catching the 3D remake when it comes out this Friday. Finding Nemo is animated perfection, plain and simple. Dredd 3D comes out next week. Looks freaking incredible, and it already has overwhelmingly high ratings across the web.
New trailer out for Wreck-It Ralph: http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/wreckit-ralph/trailers/wreck-it-ralph-theatrical-trailer-30520182.html Looks awesome!
Ryan Gosling is walking around campus here at UT right now. No big deal. Edit: ..along with Christian Bale, Natalie Portman, John Legend, and others.
Yeah i'm seeing Dredd very soon. Big fan of Judge Dredd, its a character from the comic/graphic novel 2000ad which has been running for 30 years. The Judge Dredd film in the 90's with Stallone wasnt very good, i mean in the comic he never takes his helmet off, with Stallone that happened straight away This new Dredd seems much much better, had very good reviews so far, tons of violence, the 2000ad fans are very happy. Looking forward to seeing it
Dredd opened with $6.3m in 6th place..that's just brutal. Guess it didn't appeal to too many people. I thought it looked really epic.
Yeah, it didn't really appeal to me just from the trailer. Then again I knew absolutely nothing about the Dredd comics or anything, so maybe that had something to do with it.
