Most probably their tyres were totally worn out, it's a good idea to change them before they get much lower than a quarter of a circle wear.
Came second in qualifying. Started using tactics from the real F1, eg if my tanks quite low, eg half empty i tend to set my driver to go as fast as he can as the tanks low so the weight of the car is lighter and he'll go much faster. Seems to have worked. A great game
This is an amazing game. Very addictive. I've never been a fan of any racing (lacrosse and hockey for me), so I know nothing about the sport, but I've been learning from this sim and it is fascinating.

It happened again on the second race. If I change their strategy to "Pit" the driver seems to slow way down even he's still got a long way to go to get to the pit. So I started to wait until he's close to the pit entry before telling him to pit.
I managed to get a few hours into the game and was really enjoying it. Had my first season almost done, almost won a race, and had a nice rookie I called up. Game crashed 3 or 4 times, mostly when I would hit the faster race speed at start of the race. The last crash took my profile with it... HOOOOOORAY! Get to start over

Should add ambient sound like rain and thunder. Also writing on tyres on title screen... It's backwards on one side of the car

Loving it but there are issues. Like my driver set three purple sectors in the last qually lap and he's 2nd.. Huh? I would like:- Option to rename/edit team and driver names (all of them) Drivers to join other teams when you fire them Persistent teams in the same series year to year Front/rear wing downforce settings No additional pointless GC achievements
Any tips for a racing newbie? (I know absolutely nothing about racing, but I love the game!). I accidentally clicked away two tips before reading. Is there any way to see them again?

The only issue with driver you fire moving to different teams is if custom drive/team member names is implemented. All the sudden if you can rename every driver the same after firing you could end up with a lot of drivers with the same name...maybe it's not a bad thing but I feel like slightly annoying.
I'm playing this on an iphone 4s with 1.4gb of space free and I'm not having an crashes, but it does run my battery down quite quickly, but it is a 2 year old iphone. Its an excellent game that I'm really enjoying so far.
I have a retina mini with 16gb. No issues yet at all. It runs perfect. No matter what we all would want something different I suppose eh? I like tons of options where some of you guys don't!!!! Guess that's what makes the world so much fun! We all don't wear green with a fohawk, smart car and skinny jeans. Hahha. This game is still fun. It's got great graphics and it simple, it has a place on my pad for awhile! I prune the games I hate, 16gb dude no room!
Have to agree I'd like landscape on ipad.. Also few issues.. A player "crashed" yet he finished 2nd and I finished 3rd, points etc all said he finished 2nd but on end race screen it said crashed, seen this twice.. Youth drivers, I'd like to select my own youth driver from a list. Sponsorships - they should say what their expectations are. Nothing worse than taking a sponsorship to find they want you to win and qualify first when you're a mid table team..
I've done three seasons....waiting to start Australian gp and it crashes after all the pre season events....grrrr
