This is by the devs of Trials HD, Draw Race 1 & 2 and 1000 Heroz and it is awesome. There are daily challenges like in 1000 Heroz, although while most races have unlimited tries, some are one try challenges - practice as much as you want, but you only get one run for the record. Also the races overlap, so you have 3 or 4 races to choose from in a day. You aren't just stuck on one course like 1000 Heroz. A great feature is you can choose anyone on the leaderboard for a course to be a ghost in your race. So you can work your way up the leaderboards by chasing people just above you. Also there is a single player campaign and a party mode which is very fun (up to 4 player local multiplayer). Plus vehicles to unlock by playing the single player campaign.

The game controls a lot tighter then 1000 Heroz and feels quite a bit more skill based. It lays somewhere between Trials HD and 1000 Heroz in that regard. It's pretty much a 2D, cartoony Trials that doesn't get to frustrating levels of difficulty and instead is just about shaving time off your runs. So if you're looking for uber challenge just to finish a course, that's not really here. However, there is a lot of skill involved in getting good runs.

Anyone else playing this game? It's definitely worth the 1500 point ($15) asking price.

I had been waiting excitedly for this game for quite a while!

Our Wii doesn't get touched except for when we have people over - last time we spent many an hour playing World of Goo (4-player coop FUN!), Animal Snap and Bubble Bobble Plus...

One game that surprised me (well, not that much) was how popular Jelly Car 2 was, people were taking turns playing it 2-player. Now we have MotoHeroz. :D

I actually picked this up on Launch day.

I agree - it is a great game ... kind of "Amiga-ish" style which is no bad thing.

The price - well I had a few wii points left in my account which I just had to top up and I have to say it IS actually quite expensive .. one of the most expensive wiiware games out there ... but maybe we are just spoilt by iOS.

I have only done the tutorial so far, it's all I have time to do (unfortunately it doesn't come with 2 free hours to play it!) but I like it a lot! - The physics are very precise and the game moves at a very good pace. I have bought 2 different buggies but I have not noticed so much difference in them yet... maybe when you get further into the game you get more extreme differences in the vehicles.

I have tried the 2-player mode with the OH but she wasn't so impressed (give her Mario Kart any day) ... not tried it online yet - but I see that dreaded red Nintendo icon that I have to more some more of my hard earned to play online? .. hmmmm

It's good though! - I'm very happy to have it ... don't think RedLynx can do much wrong to be honest.

I will mail more here when I have had some time to play it (I intend to get up early tomorrow just to play it for a couple of hours before work!) ... that's unless DragonVale doesn't grab me first!

Nice to see someone else has it though :)

I'm not sure if it's what you were saying, but no you don't have to pay to play in the online competitions. Note that the online play is not live. You are competing against everyone's runs and can have a ghost (of another player's run) of your choosing in your game.

The cars do have differences. One accelerates much faster, for example, another is very bouncy, etc.

Arhh ... OK .. I understand .. just when I downloaded it I saw the Red Nintendo "Pay To Play" Icon and thought that it must mean that to play it online I must pay.

I will take a look tomorrow morning at the Ghosts of other people's runs ... that sounds fun to see how other people get their times.

For sure the vehicles have differences but of the two I unlocked there was not so much between them and the stock default .. I was just saying that the other ones you can unlock the stats of them (speed, acceleration etc) look much more extreme.

hi guys, glad you're enjoying the game! The 'pay to play' icon is only there because of DLC content which could be coming on later, down the road. Hopefully it won't scare off too many users!

The game is fantastic and I hope it does well and we do get DLC down the road, but obviously I'm worried that being on WiiWare might do it in. Is there any word on how it's selling? It hope it's selling a ton!
