Yes, Real Racing is realistic, but it's kinda boring. The cars are boring, the races get boring quickly, the game is just boring. Jet Car Stunts is the way to go if you wanna have fun. It's REALLY realistic, too!
Agreed on all counts. Not braking in GT racing is a joke unless like you say the assists are on, or you only race in the Ford Model T! In regards to the OP's question, i'd say the most realistic is GTR. Its physics and driving feel are about on par with RR and way better than Shift (which is way more arcade than sim) and the real cars (each with its own unique handling) and tracks (each with weather effects too) also add to the realism. The depth and variety available is really astonishing for the price.
Even though I like Shift more than RR both Shift and RR have gotten boring for me. But keep in mind that I do not have GT, so I can not say anything about that. But if people are saying that GT is the best, they are probably right. But I agree with whoever said Jet Car Stunts because that game pwnz, even though it is not super realistic
Out of the three, I would go with GT Racing. Shift has too much of an arcade feel attached to it still, and Real Racing, while still enjoyable, is a bit outdated. I still play it every so often, but it doesn't feel as fresh as before.
Of course it is. I mean, how boring is Real Racing? The tracks are plain, the cars are plain and there isn't real-time online racing.
real racing is not realistic. I cant believe people actually think it is GT racing blows RR out of the water. edit: just played real racing for the first time in awhile. Yup its not real at all. the car feels way too light and it seems like they just glide over the ground. That and the cars braking is so incredibly fake. it takes abotu a split second to slow down into a turn.
