Warning do not click on these if you are prone to seizures. http://www.iccm-1.org/ created by http://www.sharperfx.com/ Has list of other sites. Have you seen a website with a more intense intro? Should games have an intro?
Uhmmm....I'm afraid of them now....The website looks like they're trying to build an army or something. ONLY THIS SUNDAY!!SUNDAY SUNDAY!!!!! SEE GOD....LIVE!!! THIS SUNDAY AT YOUR LOCAL CIVIC CENTER!!!(said in a deep radio announcers voice)
Best flash intro sites, or the most impressive ones are long gone now. http://rayoflight.net and http://derbauer.de (both offline, I think) were both created when flash was in its infancy around the year 2000. Not that there's all kinds of different flash utilities that automate all the things they did by hand I have a hard time getting excited about fancy flash intros anymore.
Well it USED to be the most amazing Flash intro I had ever seen with an art/animation style that rivaled the stuff you'd see in anime movies. All done back when the only animation system Flash had was very a very basic ability to tween between shapes. Looking around on Google reveals the author of the original website is now an artist for Eidos, so that's pretty cool. Hopefully there's someone around here who has been in the web design 'scene' long enough to remember Ray of Light.
Ohhh.....I misread the first post. I though it was a flash game website The intro is really cool! Amazing flash usage
The website makes christianity look so cool....like action christianity!! Or maybe EXTREME CHRISTIANITY!!!!
No problem.. no falling asleep in that church. Anyone else find a website with a great intro? Should games have intros?
Depends on the game. If it's a racing, action/adventure game, yeah, definitely. Get's the player pumped, especially during the beginning levels where you're a weakling that knows nothing. But for match 3 and TD games... eh, hard to get psyched over 3 blue jewels vaporizing or little tiny towers constantly pumping out little dots at marching bugs This church intro, though... Jesus Christ!!! ooooo, a pun
