I would save one painting to put the most popular game of the day youR kid is born that would be cool to look at when you 16 and see if it turned into a classic or not I have a feeling not many games are going to be classics any more trends move to fast for anything to stck
Oh, don't take my words too seriously. I'm just going to paint 25 little canvas and it's going to look cool, I think. Still better than a Lady Gaga poster. What I care is to pick up some classic games with potential. If people think Pocket God can be a classic, than I should consider this title. If it fails... well, who cares. It's just a painting. I can paint over it.
Yeah you really need Abe. "The Oddworld games have received more than 100 industry awards. Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee received more than 24 awards and three nominations from the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences over 1997 and 1998." http://www.oddworld.com/oddworld/company/ow_awards_ao.shtml Historically important enough?
Tony Hawk revolutionised skateboarding games. B.J. Blazkowicz from Wolfenstein started the FPS genre And the Marine from Doom perfected it Also I really have something for Sora from Kingdom Hearts;
You own the game and didn't know the character was called a sackboy? Did you skip over the introduction?
Ahah... yeah, don't worry. THAT sackboy is on my list. I want to thank all of you again. I'm really close to have a final list and start painting. This is what I've chosen for now. Still deciding what to add for the last 6 empty spaces. I'm considering all of your ideas.
Some good candidates suggested by all of you: - Dirk the Daring - Nurse of silent hill - Niko Bellic - Abe - Marcus Fenix - B.J. Blazkowicz - Lara Croft - Bowser - Bomberman - Samus Aran - Rayman
how have we all forgotten about the greatest RPG ever that is STILL spawning sequels and re-makes to this day: Final Fantasy
That doesn't have much to do with well-known characters... Cloud and Sephiroth have already been mentioned anyway.
