what do you think is the most addicting game in the appstore?
my vote would be icopter...
I don't know why, though. Nothing about the game should make you come back and play it, but you'll never be able to stop.
Papi Jump orrrrr Doodle Jump
someone will say Flight Control
Dance Dance Revolution Shake
I'm going to put my vote in for a game that hasn't actually been released yet, but it has been submitted to the App-Store and so should hopefully be available real soon.
The game is called Kryzer, and I've been lucky enough to have been playing with a late beta of this game, and it's thee most addictive game I have ever played. I keep on telling myself "just one more game", but then after that one, I play another one. And another one. And another one. And another... You get the picture.
You can find out more about this game in the Upcoming Games section here:
KRYZER prologue (FDG): soon
I like Scramble. Playing Boggle against 120 people at once and trying to get into the top 3 is addicting.
So much jiggly fun
Resident Evil Degeneration (Zombies FTW)
Centipede. I always go back to this one.
for me it would have to be Pathways http://conniptionentertainment.com/pathways/index.html
this is easily the hardest puzzle game in the app store...
Since today, it's...PEGGLE! But otherwise I have to agree with Frogtorch that Centipede has me coming back again and again and again and...(and now with online high scores)
Easily Drop7, but Hardcore mode is also the most frustrating too.
I always go back to it too. Still ticked I spent $5 on this. It has Easy, Medium and Hard. I play on Easy and feel like I suck so hard. When I played this on atari 7200 or whatever it was called I remember playing this for hours. This iphone version I can barely last on easy. Perhaps it's just the finger being in the way...who knows.
Peggle with challenge mode (freakin hard) has to be most addicting. 2nd most addicting game for me is Guan.
I don't get it. You like the game and its still $5, so why are you ticked you bought it? I'm not trying to sound like jerk or anything, I just don't get it.
Eliss and mazefinger
Along with my aforementioned Kryzer
I have four other games which sit in the "just one more go" grouping of icons on my iPhone home screen.
In no particular order...
(Click the pictures for links to the games)
I won't say any more about this one, because everyone in the whole world knows about it.
With a ridiculously simple idea and yet fiendishly addictive, this is one game that I'm really surprised has not been given more exposure.
There's also a free lite version to try out, so give that a go if you're still not sure.
Gridlocked: Rush Hour
Not to be confused with the similarly-titled and similar-gameplay "Gridlocked", this game is very new to me. I got it less than 24 hours ago and have only played it a few times, but it's a pretty strong contender so far.
It certainly has a similar appeal to Flight Control, in that whole managing multiple vehicles them.
There's a few very similar games to this one around, but the 99c paid-for version is still the best.
really most addicting. i'll find out it
I gotta say Puzzle Prism, really great game! Doodle jump is great for short gaming sessions too.
Galcon online, im a total addict
I like Smart Squares. But there is not enough levels. I am waiting more.
heres another thread that has some opinions.
i said lemonade tycoon is pretty addicting
