Feel free to use any of mine :p They're not quite as good as steviebwoy's but I'm not bothered about credit, I just wanna see Mos dressed up.

Meh, maybe you're right mate. Nick, did you say you'd at least put our names on your website or something? I'd rather see them on there than not I suppose! :p

Just so you know, I'm not trying to make you looks bad, it's your call. If it was anything bigger like a level design I'd want credit but for this amount of work I'm just not fussed :)

Yeah I know dude, I just felt like we'd come up with something worthy of mention within the game, but I guess I over-estimated our contribution a bit! :p

To be fair, they do still have to animate them and write the back-end. Plus, like I said, I'd rather see our Mos's in the game than not so I guess it's all good.

Sorry if I came across like a spoilt little shite! :p:D

    Thanks MidianGTX! :) :)
@steviebwoy, yep we'll put a thanks up on the main physmo.com page if we use an idea from before this message :)

I'll be drawing/animating the costumes from scratch in my own messy style so they'll probably end up looking a little different.

Please no more costume suggestions though! (unless you don't mind being uncredited!!) :D :D

    Cheers!

    Nick

Oh some news on the bugfixes/new features so far:
Ipad support, web level caching, display rotating, new skin system, web level controls fixed, user defined controls (ipad), some bug fixes... (we've been busy :) )

Is anyone else struggling with getting all of the time badges by the way? Currently on 2.5 and 3.1 and can't manage to get either of them!:) It's very satisfying when you do get it right though, think I must've had a good 100 tries at 2.3 before I got it!

Infuriatingly mate! I tend to fail terribly, have a quick fit of rage, give up, then come back an hour later and do it first time! :D

Edit: have managed to finish the Level 2 Time Trial in 39.98s, can't see me getting any better than that for a while! Couldn't seem to get past that horrible bit with the 3 bees and 2 zombies any quicker! Bloody hard but got there in the end! hehe!

    level times

    Hi,

Was just wondering if anyone had a video of a sub 24 second time on level 2-5? We've been doing some testing and it doesn't really seem possible so was just wondering if someone had found a shortcut or bug we didn't notice :)

    Thanks,
    Tone

I had been battling with JoelSixPack on the leaderboards and we both currently have sub 24 second times. I'll try to take a video of how I do my run and send it to you if you're curious, but yeah it's fully legit though, not taking advantage of any bug or anything. Mostly just optimizing the run and some precise jumping through enemies :)

Gosh, can you post that on here please? Just so I can see how the pros do it! :D Don't think I'll ever reach that level of gaming nirvana, I'd just be happy to get all the badges!

The game was designed with shift controls in mind. There are some advantages to using them - they obscure less of the screen and it doesn't matter that you don't get the feedback from a physical d-pad, you don't have to look at the controls to see where you are pressing.

We made them the default setting so that people would give them a try, a lot of people have done and get fast level times with them, and all of the speedrun times were set using them.

The tutorial text at the start of the game explains the controls and then tells you that the controls can be switched in the options - it's like 2 button clicks to switch to the the on-screen d-pad.

We realise now that it was a mistake to do something different, and will be making the d-pad controls the default setting for the next update. We humbly apologise to the people who had to go to the options screen and press the controls button to select their favourite control method.

We only hope, given time, that you will forget the pain this has caused.

    :)
